A little bit about me...I work in healthcare, and while I am happy with the career I chose and have found it very rewarding, I don't see myself remaining in the same field indefinitely, so I am considering going back to school to pursue further studies. I truly love to travel and experience new places and faces, but also enjoy life in Winnipeg. I recently moved back here after living in the U.S. for a time, and have been rediscovering all of the great things about the city and province too. Some of the things I enjoy: trying new restaurants, music festivals and live shows, movies, theatre, interesting discussions.... While I live near the city centre, I need to get away and get back in touch with nature on a regular basis or I start to get a little tense! Hiking is one of my very favourite activities, along with camping, and I'd love to do more paddling. Spending time relaxing at the family cabin is always nice too.
. Life is good but it would be better if you have "someone" to share it with. I treasure and love my family and friends. I'm a dog lover and I enjoy travelling and outdoor activities. (the adventure that comes with it makes it more fun, some "charge it to experience" scenarios I would say). They say I'm a daredevil (because of my recent stint in skydiving), a very outgoing person but also enjoys a little "me" time.
I love kids and wishing to raise my own someday. But for now my niece and my nephew are doing a great job melting my heart everytime we have the chance to see eachother on skype or facetime. When asked what am I looking for, My answer is that I am praying to meet a man kind enough not to break my heart . (Not much to ask right? games are for kids!).
I work hard and i understand the word sacrifice. The other side of me also knows how to party! I love to try new things from food to sports (i dont mind getting my hands dirty!), just need some nudge or somebody to tell me to drop what i'm doing in the office and go out.

. My ideal guy description is: Intelligent - the key to my heart. He doesn't need to be a genius but I do prefer that when I talk to him we have interesting conversations. Goofy - I'm a goofy person and I want someone who can match that. Friendly - I hang out with my friends a lot. They are important to me and I would like it if the guy I were to be with got along with my friends (that goes for my family too). Romantic - he doesn't need to spend tons of money. . Well what can I say. I grew up in Ontario on a dairy farm, close to the lake, which shaped my love for the outdoors, and have bounced around Toronto and area while in school. I spent a few years travelling, and BC or back to Ontario is ideally where I want to be, but life seems to have other plans for me. So here I am in Winnipeg and I figure I might as well accept it. Since I will be here for a bit yet, I have decided to go back and finish school. So with that and work, life is kinda busy, but all good.
I spend my time off in the summer camping, going to the beach, sitting on a patio bar or whatever catches my interest. I am a pretty laid back and independent person, and really just like to see where life takes me and make the most of it as I go. I know what I want out of life and what I want to do, but I also want to enjoy it and find myself taking little detours as I go.
I am not looking for games and to waste my time on things that aren't going anywhere, but I am also not looking to get married tomorrow. Really just looking to meet some interesting people, and beyond that we'll see as we go :P
