Date men and women from Canada. Canadian but raised in India. I am currently retired. I am a very passionate about helping other people, and I believe it is as true a calling I can find in this life. I love to joke around, and I am a pretty big practical joker. Strong willed would be the way to describe me, even though the line between strong willed and stubborn may get a little blurry at times.
I am really just looking for someone who is as fun as she is intellectual. A person who is passionate for life, and does not want to live with any regrets, describes the person I am looking for.
Meet people from Canada. My favourite things in the world are literature, music, and math. These things are the world to me. As a result I'm a little bit reclusive (more of a stay in than go out person).
I've been working on my master's degree in pure math for a few years now.
This summer, an average day for me is: working on my thesis, working at my p/t job a couple days a week (I work at Wendy's - not glamorous, I know, but it gives me some money which I need because my student loan is in repayment), going for a walk by Lake Banook, reading literature, making food, listening to music, doing dishes, browsing the internet. That's pretty much it, but I like it.
I'm a pretty serious person, just because I've seen how easy it is to fail at things in life, and how hard it can be to succeed. That being said, I love humour as well. But I'm not half-hearted in anything.
I'm looking for someone who's intelligent and sensitive. I'm not looking for the partying type. If you like music or literature or philosophy or the beauty of nature; conversation, going for walks, maybe playing scrabble or chess (although I don't really play chess and probably suck at it, even though I'm a math student), cooking, or just having someone who likes these things to relax with, me may get along.

A little about me
I am 26, 5'4, brown hair, green eyes and average built. My friends would describe me as friendly, outgoing, caring, honest, trustworthy and easy to talk to. I've resided in Nova Scotia my entire life but I have relocated from the Annapolis Valley to Halifax five years ago. I am fluent in French and English. I do have a full time job (5 days a week) and do have my own car. Family and friends are important to me. I am always there for those I care about.
Hobbies
I am actively playing badminton, tennis and golf. I do have an interest in other sports like hockey, squash, soccer, basketball, baseball and curling. I enjoy spending time outdoors; going on trails, hykes, sightseeing, camping and car cruises. I do like to listen to various types of music such as Pop, RB, alternative, light rock, dance, techno and country. I really enjoy watching new movies at the theatre or at home. I do once in a while like to play computer or console games.

I love my job, but i also can't wait for Friday and relax and do some fun things throughout the weekend! I play hockey in the winter and any sport you can think of in the summer!
