I'm not shy in the beginning or any at time, lol and I’m pretty down to earth and certainly don’t judge a book by its cover and I hope you do not either.
My children, my family and friends are very important to me but I'd like to find that special someone. Someone to share hopes and dreams with, someone to say "it's going to be alright" and give you that big comforting hug when you've had one of those days, someone to share the day to day ups and downs with and just simply someone to love and be loved by.
I enjoy life and always try to have a positive outlook on things but it is hard to do sometimes when you have no confidant to lean on, I truly believe you can turn any negative situation around and make it positive if you choose to do so.
I really enjoy the simple things in life like going for long walks, cuddling by the fire or just sitting and talking. Anything can be enjoyable if you want it to be. I also enjoy going to the movies and playing pool, it's all about having fun.
I believe laughter is the best medicine, so you must have a sense of humor and take things lightly, be able to joke and carry on and just have fun. Life is too short not to, so you have to make the most of every day.
I'd have to say honesty, trust, communication and respect along with a good sense of humor are important qualities that I look for in a significant other/partner. As well being an overall good person who is willing to put themselves out there, someone who is sensitive to the needs of others and someone who is secure and confident with themselves.
I don't care for drama of any kind and don't play games any more, so I'd appreciate the same in return.
