Date single man from Alberta, Canada. So, about me... I'm a guy like any other, so what sets me apart from the rest of the crowd? It would have to be my compassion. Yes, i'm intelligent, yes, i'm great at sports, and generally very awesome (and so sooo modest), but if there's one thing that brings balance in my life is compassion. I care for everyone, I don't carry prejudices before meeting someone; in fact, my philosophy of meeting someone new is to treat them like i've known them my entire life. You know what? I've been taken advantage of for sure, but that's life and those people aren't part of it any more.
I live life in a planned chaos. I am financially secure yet somewhat of a workaholic. I may be passionate about my business but I love to have fun as well. It is a balance that I'd like to share with someone.
I don't really have a 'type' as I believe i've dated them all and I really have no preference. I'm short, don't hold it against me, it's in my genes. I've dated shorter and taller, and haven't had any issues other than some fun looks.
When it comes to interests, it's nice to have them in common, but it's also nice to have separate interests for alone time. I don't need to be together alllll the time, but again, it's not a deal breaker either.
I sound wishy washy, but on the most part, i'm just not picky and pretty laid back. If you have something to say, tell me the brutally honest truth, i'm a big boy and can handle it and we'll discuss it like adults. At work, I have to be the guy with all the answers, lead the way, and deal with issues... So at home, I like to relax and share in the decision making or just nod in agreement, haha!

Meet people from Canada. I'm an active guy and I enjoy spending time outside whenever possible, whether it's running along the river pathway or getting out to the mountains. I took a job in a downtown office this winter, but I'm still more comfortable splitting wood for a campfire or hiking to various field sites. I'm glad to have both sides in my life, asI like learning and experiencing new things.
I like to push my comfort levels, and love the "do something each day that scares you" mentality (somedays my bike commute into downtown fills that order!). Lots of the sports that I do involve pushing my own limits, mentally and physically. Climbing is great for that, especially since I used to have a fear of heights. I enjoy traveling, but am more of a backpacking / treking then a beach resort guy. So far I've spent a few months in Ghana, Tanzania, Thailand and most recently Nepal. Loved them all, but it makes me appreciate Canada.
Like many in the west, I'm originally from the east coast. I'm close with my family, though I don't get back as often as I'd like. Friends and family are my priorities in life. I enjoy my line of work and the people I work with, and it lets me maintain a good work / life balance.
