So a bit about me … well … I can be a bit of a nerd (hello, engineer), but only in the sense that I love technology, learning new things, and doing things for myself. I have never read a comic book or owned superhero underwear. I prefer to do all the work on my cars and house myself when I can because I have found that I take more care in what I am doing than other people (probably because it is my stuff and not their own). I have also gotten into rebuilding electric guitars as a hobby and have been teaching myself to play them. I used to play piano when I was young and the trumpet in jazz bands in high school and university, but I enjoy the guitar so much more.
For the last couple of years I have been on kind of an exercise kick, but I am more of an outside person than a gym person. I help run a boot camp or go running to Eau Claire and back during my lunch hour a couple times a week. I am out on my inline skates as often as I can. I also love biking, but it always takes a bit to get my butt broken in on that seat (oh, the pain). If I can find someone to go with me, I would like to do a lot more swimming in my community lake (right now I am just going with my brother’s kids and they can’t really swim yet). The person I am looking for doesn’t need to do this stuff with me, but it would be an added bonus. I find getting outside and doing something just puts me in such a good mood. However, I do enjoy watching TV/movies, having a few drinks at a pub/patio, or doing pretty much anything as long as I am in good company.

When I'm not engaged in finding ways to become exceptionally filthy working on old cars and motorcycles, I'm usually spending quality time alone with my dog...exploring new places in the city, or going for a drive to Cochrane for an ice cream cone. I'm also in a band, so a lot of time is spent in the studio writing, singing, playing, laughing...creating something really great. So as much as I can, I try to get out and support local acts and interact with other musicians. It's a really neat feeling to have a band that you really love tell you how much they love your band...
My interests are as ecclectic as I am...I like architecture, fancy manhole covers, dogs interacting with eachother, airplanes, and cooking. Its pretty obvious in photo #1 that tattoos play a pretty important role as to what defines me. Every piece, panel and sleeve has a purpose. They tell a story, and I have no intention of stopping any time soon, as long as I'm alive, breathing, learning, losing and loving...the stories will continue. The only drawback is, most people assume I'm a tough guy or a criminal... I'm tough, but ticklish, and I've only ever had one speeding ticket in my life...

In the summer I love to go quading, camping, fishing, waterskiing and just being outside. One day I would like to get a couple of horses – I live a half mile from a bird sanctuary that has miles of trails so that is very convenient.

. Lol I've been told I should should expand a little more on what I say here. Truth be told I still believe in the power and the need for the first date and believe that to much written down on sites like this remove part of the mystery that makes it fun to discover a person. No thats not me trying to take the lazy route. I do strongly believe that words read can have so many meanings and the person reading it can miss so much in terms of conviction and feelings behind those words. Let's be honest everyone here will judge the other person first on looks and then maybe choose to read the words that were written down or may just bypass those and want to send a message right away. Edit: I guess I should mention a couple more things after the past few experiences. I am not here to play games and really don't want that in return. I guess being born in Kenya and raised the way I was taught me to respect women immensely and giving that I almost expect respect back. I do not enter relationships lightly and accordingly when I do I give it my all. If your goal is to bounce on from guy to guy please don't waste your or my time. Relationships are not based on a dating show where you get to show up, expect the most, and move on if your not given something you haven't worked for.
