Ideally I am looking for passionate lover, loyal friend and confidante whom I can forge a strong bond with, a bond such that it will last a lifetime, so that one day, when we are perhaps into our hundreds, we will be able to look back at a rich and rewarding relationship.
Ultimately it all begins with that first contact and starting out as friends. If there is one thing that I have learned about relationships, it is that they can start out of left field and sometimes when you least expect it, so I am open to possibilites and always willing to risk a conversation over coffee or a meal in a public place.
An attitude that is playful, mischevious and a tad sarcastic is what I find most attractive. Second to that (I know this sounds kind of contradictory)is a nurturing and loving disposition. If you are genuine and down to earth it will get my attention more than anything else.
It would be a bonus if you can play a fiddle or piano or guitar or can sing, but unfortunely it may complicate things because I will most likely fall in love the first time I hear you play .
I have always been very independant and a bit shy and when I was younger I always did things by myself very spur of the moment. These days I make a concerted effort to plan and get out and do things with friends and try to expand my social circle.
You would most likely find me at the movie theatre, but watching a video at home with someone special would trump the theatre any day. Supper or lunch, either at home or out, is always a great way to relax and get to know someone.
I am single, never been married or in any kind of long term living arrangement nor have I ever had a one night stand. I consider myself to be spiritual, but not a religious freak (although I once contemplated becoming a religious freak ) A friend of mine recently said that I have no ego. I think if it is true, it is because I have seen some hard times and find solace in the fact that things always work out in the end.
