I fell in love in high school and when that ended I felt it wasn't fair to try to date until I was over him. 5 years later, I'm finally at a point in my life where I know I'm able to move on and I just have no idea where to look for nice single guys. So my little brother suggested Match to me and although I'm not a big fan of computers (I never remember to check my email and all my tech-savvy friends hate me lol) I thought I'd give it a try.....here goes :)
Ok, so my life with 2 jobs and a 6 year old is busy busy. I would so love to meet a guy who could enjoy the busyness with me :) I want to be with someone with lots of things in common. My parents have been together for more than 30 years and they act like newlyweds. They attribute that greatly to their shared interests. They love to be together and that would be nice to find.
I don't talk this much in real life, I swear.....
I do have an energetic 6 year old with no father in the picture at all. She is the most important part of my life (although I have wonderful supportive, parents who do babysit and help out as well) :) I'm looking for a nice, honest, good-hearted guy. I'm not looking to "hang out", or "have a good time" or "be friends and see what happens". I do want someone whoРІР‚в„ўs looking for that 1 person who can be my best friend. I don't want my daughter to look back on her childhood someday and remember all mommiesРІР‚в„ў boyfriends. I don't want to date for the sake of dating....does that make sense?
I have a great life already; my daughter is happy and has plenty of male role models who love her dearly in her life. I'm not looking for a new father for her, but a companion for me. But a companion for me would have to love her too so...hmm...well make what you want of that I guess lol. I am very happy right now and life is good, but I know it could be even better, :)
I love my horse and ride her whenever I have time (which is not as often as I want) I trained her totally by myself starting when I was 14 years old. I was in 4H for 8 years as a member (light horse, and outdoorsman) and I also was the leader of a horse club for 3 years.
I downhill ski and before my daughter was born I was a ski patroller for 4 years. I haven't got to ski allot in the last 6 years but now that my girl is older and ready to learn I look forward to getting back into it this season. All I need is some company ;)
I have attended the last 3 world youth days (a world wide catholic youth festival hosted by the pope) 1st in Toronto in 2002, then Germany in 2005, then in Sydney Australia in 2008. Now, don't get the wrong idea though, I am strong in my faith but not a fanatic. God and I have had our issues LOL. These festivals are a nice way to meet other Catholic young people in my area and see some of the world at the same time. :) Plus, I saw the Pope 3 times...and he's kind of a big deal lol
LOL....the END IS NEAR.......
I LOVE to travel, if I could I would step foot on every country in the whole world! After Germany in 05' my older and younger brothers and I bought a train pass and traveled to about 15 European counties in under 3 months with 1000 bucks each, a tent and a hibachi BBQ! Talk about adventure! It was quite a trip! Then after Sydney on 08' (my sister was gonna come with me but canceled at the last minute) I traveled with contiki the east coast of Australia and all of New Zealand alone. It was also awesome and I learned allot about myself too. I have also been to every province exempt Manitoba and even did a tenting tour of 1 of the territories :)
