Healthy lifestyle is very important to me; the great outdoors, daily exercise, be it walking, running, cycling, canoeing or just floating down a lazy river in an inner tube. Of course a healthy diet has to go along with that ( I do enjoy the occasional little indulgences too though) one does have to have some fun.
Mind, body, spirit, it has to be in balance.
I also, like to watch a good movie, do crossword and sudoku puzzles, read a good book, sit around and talk with friends, you know, when you solve the worlds problems while sipping a glass good red wine, and organizing games nights with friends. I must admit I do have a competitive streak (completely under control, of course).
Good and healthy family relationships are very important, I love getting together for a chaotic day, afternoon, evening with family and friends trading stories and laughing.
My idea of a perfect day would be; up earlish, light healthy breakfast (maybe a shake), out for a hike in the woods (not too strenuous, you have to pace yourself), maybe a nice lunch at a trendy bistro or a chip wagon, than get in the canoe and go discover a hidden gem of a lake that no motor boat has been on, follow that with a bike ride on some nice scenic trails, a good supper (prepared by someone other than me) and end the day with sitting, laughing and singing around a camp fire and roasting marshmallows. Now that would be my perfect summer day. Enjoy. Repeat.
