Meet single girl from Canada. Well I like to think I am still kind of new to Calgary... But I think that novelty is starting to diminish. I moved up to Calgary about a year and a half ago and have been enjoying myself so far! Professionally I am lucky enough to have my career underway in my chosen field of Finance and am working for a great company here in downtown Calgary. I have finally started on my CFA designation and am sure of what it is I want in life and the direction that I wish to go; it would be really nice to find someone who is in a similar position! :)
In my spare time I like to spend my time with close friends and family whenever I can, I love going to movies, going out for dinner (or staying in), catching a comedy show or heading out to Banff for the weekend. I'm shy at first but once the conversation gets started I am anything but shy. I am a pretty laid back person, I really like to just relax outside whether that means sitting in chairs, walking by the river, rafting down the river, tossing a football, or cycling. I like playing team recreation sports (I just starting playing on hockey and flag football teams).
I have a huge passion for cooking; I love to try a recipes and re-create them into something new. I also love to do triathlons. I have just completed my seventh race, and looking for more to do!
Concerts are pretty much the only way to experience music. I have been to many and will go to many more. Ones I have been to include : Muse, Coldplay, Metric, Arcade Fire, John Foggerty, Bedouin Soundclash, Stars, Franz Ferdinand and Death Cab for Cutie.
