While I’m definitely a mountain kind of guy (Born and raised among them)but I love exploring all over the world from mountains and ocean to cities and small towns. I’ve had the chance to do quite a bit of exploring and travel, and I plan on keeping on exploring my entire life.
While I am finishing up my PhD I make a living on my skis in the winter and my mountain bike in the summer, but it doesn’t mean I want to do it forever. I’m a very ambitious and driven person; I am working very hard to make my life the life I want to lead. While I am certainly happy with my life at the moment, I am working hard to ensure the next stage of my life is as good as the past has been. My goals in life are large, but I’ve come this far, I know I can get where I want!
I am a huge skier in the winter and ride all kinds of bikes in the summer. I don’t have a ton of free-time at the moment however, so if I’m not working or writing I’m almost guaranteed to be skiing or riding. I am very excited to be done with school soon so I can get back to traveling and exploring, the school things certainly puts a crimp on that!
Though I, without a doubt, have a strong ski bum streak, I am much more than that. I am just as comfortable discussing academic points at conferences, current affair issues at formal parties and working with government officials as I am skiing down steep couloirs and jumping off cliffs. I live in two very different worlds simultaneously and comfortably.
I am looking for a girl that wants to explore the world with me, be it a hike around the next bend or a journey to the other side of the globe. Travel and living abroad is a huge part of my life and I don’t see that changing anytime soon, especially with my career path.
I am looking for some that is passionate about the world around them, loves to ask “why?” and always wants to see what lies around the next bend. Someone who loves languages, travel, exploring and being outside of their comfort zone from time to time.
Not going to lie, smart, witty girls as sexy as hell. I’d love someone that is just as eager as I to go nerd out at bookstore on a rainy afternoon. Someone that can keep up with me on skis is a plus, but certainly not mandatory.

I love hiking, biking, snowboarding, skiing, camping, travelling, and pretty much everything that you can do outside! in addition to that, I also love good food, good wine, good company, good conversation, good movies and good books. I love quiet nights and loud nights; staying in or going out. And most importantly, I love to laugh and just generally have a good time. Life's too short - it's ok to take it seriously some of the time. But in the grand scheme of things it's better if you can just take a time out, and maybe even laugh at yourself a little.
I really am tired of this dating game. Why does it have to be a game anyways? It certainly is nowhere near one of my favorites. Twister, now that's a game I enjoy. :) Battleship, scrabble, pictionary, baseball, basketball, NFL football - all games I prefer to the dating game.
