Love travelling - have been to places like Turkey, Egypt, Cambodia, India, Vietnam, Argentina, Chile, Nepal ... plus the occasional trip to Healdsburg in the California wine country ... heading to China this summer ... really love the Himalayas.

Love cycling - did the Gran Fondo from Vancouver to Whistler in Sept ... doing the Ride to Conquer Cancer in the summer ... and so on ... just started mountain biking last year ... I'm not very good at it so get pretty battered up flipping over rocks and tree roots.
Love x-country skiing and snowshoeing - have to get outside since winter hangs around so long here.
Love art - all trips to Europe need to be planned around visits to Art museums: the National Gallery in London, the Prado, the Louvre, and the Rijksmuseum are some of my favourites. Though the Fine Arts museum in Buenos Aires is none too shabby!
Love music - play the guitar, banjo and African drums ... picked up a Baglama in Istanbul but not really too good playing it. World music is my passion; of the 15,000 songs on my iPod only about 1,000 are in English. Indian, Middle Eastern & African ... anything with a good beat! Plus the occasional Tango.
Love cooking - mainly Asian style, though French is good too! Since I am a man, I also adhere to the law in Canada that men must BBQ anytime the temp is between -30 and 30 C.
Love eating - favourite restaurant in Canmore is The Trough, in Calgary would have to say Teatro, Divino's, Thai Sa-on and Rajdoot.
