This is a new arena for me, there is no doubt about that! The most important thing I like about a lady is, conversing about, just anything that crops up, and expand on the subject at hand. Intellegence and education, combined with a warped sense of humour. Not to mention,to be in a healthy good physical condition. Having written that, smoking is fine with me. I'm a man that really likes to cuddle, or hold hands, wash your paint brush and or do the lawn. As for mechanical stuff, eh, let the profesionals do it. The task of starting a spegatti sauce from scratch at 0900, and to let it simmer all day is a treat to do. Have close friends over a big dinner, or a dinner for two, I am quite flexible. Aaah, a good red wine to compliment the sauce is a treat and a half. I do not mind doing laundry, actually, it's good therapy, kind of. Helps to find all the missing socks!!
I am difficult, and can be quite obstinate, there is no two ways about that, however, I will comprimise and have empathy and compassion which off sets that rebel streak. I have published art works, I enjoy, very much, sewing. Reproduction of Military Uniforms is my hobby. And, if you need drapes made, well I'm not to bad at that as well.
As mentioned above, this is all new for me, I currently work (despite being a retired Police Officer) out of town, away for a while and then back for a week. I am currently about to move into a new, perfect for me, townhouse, and really looking forward to decorate as I see fit. Mind you, imput from a new friend will always be welcomed. I am not the best gift there is, however, I'm not to be disgarded either. I would love to have a friend, companion who is equal in thought, giving advice, interest in History, and cooking, as well as being really lazy on a rainy day and hang around in old sweat pants and shirt. But, also very confident and comfortable and assertive at a get together, in a classy outfit. My 3 kids, all adults, are my friends, and the most valuable people on this earth. I also like my cats, they listen to me when I'm talking to myself, hey, I am not 100% perfect, and as such, I have a colourful character which will keep you entertained!
Well, I'm back after writing the profile, months ago. Now working, closer to Calagary, no rotation up north, every couple of weeks have a dog (my son's, due to a new born. I am a grand dad)
Becoming quite content, on my own, however, the conpanionship, of a close, intimate and cuddling friend is missed. A companion for the duration.
