Meet someone special from Alberta, Canada. Good day all. I don't overly enjoy talking about myself in a small box as it feels like I'm trying to cram who I am into 4000 characters or less! It takes more than that to describe me :) I will give a few brief points and if you would like to know more, you know what to do...
1. Musically talented (play six different instruments and I can sing!). It is the one release that I have. When I'm having a bad day, spirits need to be lifted, or celebrating an occassion, music always has a place in my life.
2. I work very hard and will continue to do so until I reach where I want to be. Some people can't handle this...I'm sorry
3. When I get into the mood for cooking, I can be very good at it. I'm no celebrity chef, but give me some ingredients and I can normally whip out something very tasty! I get this quality from my dad :)
4. My family and friends do mean the world to me. I would do almost anything for them. They have stuck by me through thin and thick. What do we really have if we don't have our family and friends?
5. I miss the days of being able to go out and get dirty. Weekends at the lake, or on the farm, or just out and about away from the city. I didn't grow up in a city...I grew up in a small town. It's hard to get used to the city life when you didn't grow up with it. One day I would like to move back to a small town, but for now I'm focusing on just getting out to the country/small town/mountains/anything on my time off.

. I am a very energetic woman who loves to keep busy. I enjoy spontaneous trips to the mountians and hanging out by a river or stream and just dangling my feet. Yes, I have 3 amazing kids! I'm proud to say that I am a single mom. I have a pretty good job and I just bought a place out in Cochrane last summer. I've been through a lot but have come out Of the whole situation wiser and stronger then I was before.
I'm originally from Manitoba but I've been in Calgary for the last 10 years. I still make it out to Manitoba @ least once a year to catch up and spend time with my family. Family is very important to me, I'd do anything for them and they would do anything for me (hopefully) lol. I know one thing for sure I would not trade the winters here for the winters in Manitoba. I cannot survive without the Awesome Chinooks that we get. I can dress up if need be but my weekend wear is usually pretty casual.
My idea of fun is going outdoors in the summer, I really wish I knew the hiking trails around here as I would for sure be out there all the time. As it is I only go on the walking paths in and around Calgary. Just this past summer I found out about Biig Hill Springs park and I absolultely love it out there. The very first time I went out there I lost my sandal crossing the little ravine (It managed to get sucked in by the mud) luckily I had my runners in my back pack. Needless to say It was very memorable.
If my friends were to describe me they would say that I am independent, loyal, honest, charismatic, un-selfish, strong willed and that I have a great sense of humor. I have no trouble laughing at myself too.

. I am a pretty down to earth type of girl that has her head on straight. I'm not a drama queen. I love to stay physically fit and eat well and hope that you do too. I enjoy finding new recipes and see what I can come up with. Often I'll find something I like at a restaurant and try to make it at home.
I am extremely family oriented. I have a large family and I love all the dinners and gatherings. I do have two kids that are with me 100% of the time. We can often be found at some sort of kid center around the city. From the zoo to the science center there is always something to do. It's amazing to watch them learn about the world around them. I just sold my dog walking company that I started up 3 years ago to go back to working down. I needed to challenge myself again. I love dogs and have one myself but I needed to find a family friendly career. I am now using my IT background to do social media marketing for a oil and gas service company. So far I find it really exciting.

I'm not the out doors type of person. I don't mind camping for a weekend here and there but if hunting and camping are a large part of your life I may be a big disappointment. Motor bikes, Quads etc I'm not fond of. I know of too many people hurt on them and I just don't like them.
