Date men and women from Canada / Alberta / Coutts, 46 year old

Date men and women from Coutts, Canada. Life is interesting - and mine is certainly getting more so lately! I have just relocated back to Alberta (is that the right term when you are moving home - - - again?) for work and frankly - to figure out if there is a real man out there (anywhere) who makes me think that sharing my life is something worth considering.
Life is long - work is a very small portion of our time in the long run, and my goal is to find someone who makes every day feel like an adventure without the need to check if my passport is up-to-date.I grew up in a small town and while my work takes me to some unusual places it does not define who I am or what I consider my core values. I want the same things everybody else does - a home, a family, one man who understands what makes me tick and friends who love me for who I am, not who they want me to be.
Being single is great - all that freedom, and never having to answer questions about why I want to eat lasagna for breakfast. The tradeoff is not having someone to share the lasagna with - or help wash up afterwards! I have a fairly dry sense of humour, but I need someone to laugh at my jokes - and tell their own occasionally. As comfortable as I am in casual clothes, I like to go out and enjoy the company of a man who isn't pulling at his shirt collar all evening. I think the perfect man is someone who is comfortable with himself, and where he is at this point in his life but who doesn't fall asleep in his rocking chair every night! I like a guy who can sing in the shower, understands that flowers are great anytime, and who can appreciate that waking me up at 2 am could be either hazardous to his health - or extremely rewarding!
My perfect match? Passionate, a little silly, someone who doesn't think getting older means getting old. A man who can cuddle without cringing, who has watched the occassional chick flick and can admit he liked it. Gets along with his family but has his own life, is kind to animals, and who isn't ready to so crawl into a rocking chair on the front porch and call it quits. He also does need to be physically affectionate and adventurous. Growing older does not mean dead from the neck down.
I work in Northern Alberta these days and own a home I am still renovating in Coutts, Alberta. I love being able to step into absolute quiet - even though Coutts is the last place on earth I thought I'd end up. I've done the Calgary/Coutts thing for yrs and actually prefer the Coutts life (less rats). I've been lucky enough to make good friends where ever I live, but would like to find that one guy who I can honestly say I want to be a lot more than just a friend.
