Last night, I was sure that someone told me I was the perfect man that you are looking for. Then I woke up and was reminded of all the little challenges God threw my way. Not sure why? It was bad enough that I had to share my youth with 10 sisters. That should have earned me an unchallenged rest of my life. I think God understood I liked practical jokes, so he really played one on me. In my early 20s, He showed me that I really could not control everything in my life and introduced me to the challenges of being a paraplegic. My parents raised us with the understanding that no one owed you anything. It was up to you to go out there and earn your own living. I faced my challenges and even proved all the doctors wrong. I earned my own living and raised my own family. Then came the challenge of a divorce. I finally am able to get on to the next challenge.
Reading these profiles, I can understand my biggest challenge will be to find someone who is able to look beyond the physical me. The rest of me is still there waiting to show someone that there is a good trade off.
