If ever there were a quote that does a great job of summing up where I am in life then that would be it. I have spent the better part of this year setting goals to make myself a better individual and taking the necessary steps to get there. The biggest accomplishments I’ve made thus far are graduating High School after dropping out years ago, getting a career job in a field I absolutely enjoy and becoming a Vegetarian. However, those accomplishments are only the tip of the iceberg as I have ample goals left on my bucket list that I am determined to see come to fruition. For example, my Passport looks a little empty and I feel it needs to be filled with a least a stamp from Spain, Hawaii (O’ahu) and Iceland.
Even though I work hard to make the most out of life, I do know how to relax and unwind. Right now a good chunk of my spare time has been spent playing a game called �Tales of Graces’ with my roommates. The story has all of us enthralled and it’s just a good way for a bunch of friends to sit around and bond and also, trash-talk one another. When I’m not hanging out with my roommates, I usually either spend time at home playing the guitar or writing techno music (I’m no John Frusciante or Tiesto, but I get by!), playing Nintendo (I might actually have an addiction to Zelda games), or heading out to watch some hockey (My team isn’t in the Playoffs so go Devils!), get ridiculously sweaty at the gym or blast the music in my car and drive wherever I feel like going.
What I Am Looking For:
I am looking for someone who I make a rather quick connection with that we can use to build a solid friendship and then see how things progress from there. I feel as though it is easier to fall in love with someone if they’re your best friend, not just the person you’re with. I absolutely want to travel and take chances doing things out of the ordinary for the sake of saying it was something I’ve done and I am looking to find someone to share these experiences with. Ideally, I would like to find someone who is okay with little surprises now and then (me bringing you a coffee and breakfast sandwich while you’re at work, sending you flowers on a day that doesn’t have any occasion to it), isn’t afraid of spontaneity (I will come pick you up one evening and drive us to a small town to grab a coffee there, turn around and drive back. A lot of people from the baby boomer generation had large impacts on my life, hard working, strong, and very loyal. I like to think that most of the qualities from these people have rubbed off on me. On the other hand there were some very laid back modern thinkers, whose influence has allowed me to be very open minded and accepting of more modern ideals and views.
So i guess i'm the kind of person who is a little bit of everything, a good mixture of tradition and innovation.
