Date men and women from Canada / Alberta / High River, 25 year old

Date a guy from Canada. Hello, this is the part where I try to give you a sense of my sparkling personality through an inadequate medium. If you make it to the end, drop me a line and tell me how I did.
I've been known to say that a "dork" is just someone who can have fun without doing what everyone else is doing, and by that definition I'm the biggest dork alive. Sometimes I walk backwards or spin in circles for no apparent reason. I say "allons-y Alonzo!" and "come along Pond!" to people who aren't called Alonzo or Pond. I usually talk way too fast, often in words that are either made up on the spot or might as well be because no one's ever heard of them. The more outlandish, nerdy, childish, or random something is considered by most people, the more likely I am to enthusiastically declare it "awesome" or "brilliant". My imagination turns everyday things into long and pointless (but entertaining) stories. Sometimes I start intense conversations about quantum mechanics and take several minutes to notice that I'm the only one actually participating in them.
On a deeper level, exploring and having new experiences is really what I'm all about. I've hiked the Great Wall of China, climbed mountains in the Himalayas, explored many an ancient castle in Europe, and ridden camels in the Arabian desert. Even when I'm not in some faraway land (which is rarely; I've lived in seven countries in the last five years), I'm usually exploring in some way. Sometimes that means trying whatever random new activity I can find (archery, busking, or flying small aircraft, for example), sometimes it means learning about anything under the sun (from sociolinguistics to theoretical physics). And sometimes it means inventing new places for my mind to wander independently of my body; I'm quite good at that. In fact it can be a challenge to get my mind to come back.
