I've accomplished a lot of my goals in life, but am far from done! If anything, I have more ideas and plans than ever before. I've been back in the Calgary area for over five years now after being very involved in academia in Ontario. I left the academic world, and started a new career in environmental science, which was unforeseen but has treated me well. I have no kids and have never been married and I don't mind sharing why if you ask.
I am a bit of a contradiction in a lot of my traits, and not easily pigeon holed. I am a scientist, but have an artistic side in music and am pretty intuitive with people. I have strong opinions, but do not feel compelled to make others share them.
My interests are varied. Cooking, reading and gardening are relaxing activities. I am social and like going out and doing things, but not too much of a club goer. I play music with friends weekly usually, and although we aren't superbly talented, we do entertain and have raised good money for some worthy causes.
I'm interested in interesting women. I definitely don't set relationship expectations prior to meeting someone, as the natural evolution of a relationship depends on the chemistry between two people. Other than interesting, I like femininity, humour and honesty, and avoid drama, deception and low self confidence. Any activity can be fun with the right person, and I am open to trying new things.
