SInce I've been on this site for a few days, I'm not sure if the ladies here are actually looking for marriage as they say. I guess I'm olld fashioned, but I get the impression that many of the women on this site have been here for a long time. I mean that two women I've chatted to have met several men on this site and slept with them. Others state that they want to slowly become "intimate" with them. I've thought about this, and I've realized I'm not the type who has intimate relationships with a few women prior to finding my partner to whom I'd marry. When I think of meeting my soulmate, the thought of her having been intimate with several men who she met on the internet is a definite turn-off for me. Don't get me wrong, I love sex as much as the next person....but my goal here is to find a life partner and I'm capable of being celebate until I do. That's just me, but I suspect many other men would be turned off of marriage if they knew the woman had "intimate" relationships with several men whom she met on a site like this. Yes, that is probably the goal of many men. Perhaps I'll join a site when I get back which more suits my personality? Having said all that, it was nice to chat to the ladies that I did. Some other ladies who I was initially attracted to mentioned this "intimate" concept in their profile, and this was a turn off for me.
Last point. I have this feeling that some women also go on this site to go on "dates"... which may be just a way for them to get a free night out and have fun. My buddies told me that the "payment" for this is to eventually have sex with them. I thought I'd mention this because this is also a big turn off for me. I raise this issue to see if there are any other comments regarding this from the ladies out there. As you can tell, I'm new at this.

I learned how to surf at the ripe age of 40 and I love it. I am beginning to see that I am either going to need a woman who will surf with me or can handle me disappearing to surf when the waves are good.
