I'm your typical farm boy, I grew up in a small town in Sask, I cheer for the Riders, I drive a truck, I drink Pilsner and I know how to make a good time out of nothing. I keep busy making trips out to the mountains hiking, snowboarding and snowmobiling on the off days. I have been meaning to buy a mountain bike and go ride in the summers but past experiences biking and hitting trees has left me thinking I should stick to other sports. I'm a huge fan of Dairy Queen, don't get me wrong, I keep up with my nutritious & healthy foods, but sometimes theres really nothing quite like a double cheese burgers from DQ followed by a chocolate dipped cone. Huge fan lol.
My commitment to my education has led me into a very successful career. I decided to make the move to Calgary to excel in my career. Luckily for me, many of the people in this city share the same goals and aspirations as I have which made it easy to meet a core group of friends. My work requires me to spend time traveling to and from Calgary to locations across western Canada doing research. I can spend anywhere from 1-2 weeks traveling followed by a full week off to do as I please. Lately I have spent my days off snowboarding in the mountains with friends, I can't complain.
My goal from this site is to meet a women I can take out for a casual date in the city, whether it be a movie date, supper date, date at DQ (how romantic), beers or anything that gives the two of us a chance to get to know one another and see what happens from there. Date a soulmate from Alberta, Canada. I came here recently from Europe, from one gorgeous mediterranean country, for a work and a change. I'm really easy going, open minded person and in a few more words, I'm peculiar, aware, decent, kinda quiet-positive-affecting guy (my fam. says that) who loves life and is looking forward to meeting decent woman with a similar mindset.
Next year I'm planing to take a long roadtrip across Mediterranean coast on a motorcycle. Nothing in this world can be compared to travelling on a bike. Only then you can sense every atom of the places you're visiting, passing by. You can feel nature. World is alive then. USA is on the list also. Apart from travelling there are some "I'm gonna try it" things like road racing, I'm planing to do in the future.
As for the love and relationships. I think whole concept about love in this world is wrong. Love is understanding, empathy and pace. Be and let it be. You can't change what you don't like in your partner by showing resistance. You can't change other person for good with fear, anxiety and anger. But you can change with love you share (not seek) trought knowledge and understanding in the first place, of yourself.

I like to just sit and talk, I enjoy watching movies of almost any type and i like to play video games, but not a lot. i enjoy board games as well. I like to go walking/hiking and bike riding as well, and though i watch t.v. i don't watch it much. I love to learn and actively do so on my own time. I am well traveled, and though this is not a priority in my life i am open to doing more of it.
I am a family man when it comes down to it, i only look for authentic and dedicated relationships in my life. I have a great sense of humor and like to have fun, but i also enjoy deep conversations. Not really a typical guy
I am a 4th year in BSc Honors program specializing in psychology, I am working as a neuroscientist for my summer job, love playing sports (a lot), I practice martial arts, work out, can hold my own video games, love spending evenings playing board games having drinks with friends, make efforts to stay healthy and active, but also have experimented with drugs. I party (but keep this balanced with a healthy lifestyle every other day), love both reading and writing, I’ve spent months out of canada traveling, I play bass, electric and acoustic guitar, have a binder stashed away in my closet with unfinished sketches poetry and lyrics, and have attempted a handful of extreme sports, like both the excitement of big cities and of camping, and am awed by how beautiful the world is and the reality that somehow I came to be a part of it.
I am always a good guy, cheerful and caring. Also witty and dorky, so I don’t have a problem getting a laugh or at least a genuine smile out of anyone. I love to learn and take risks, but enjoy quiet days as well.
The reason I ended up on Match is because I am occasionally impulsive, and had been drinking at the time I thought it was a good idea, not to say it isn’t - I don’t regret even the silliest things I do because theres something to be learned from everything. But, yeah haha here I am.
