Although born in India, I have spent most of my life in North America, predominantly in Edmonton (since 1965).
I completed all of my education in Edmonton. I completed nine years at the U of A, earning a few degrees on the way. As luck would have it, they are each directly applicable to my job.
I work for the government, and have done so for the last twenty years. My practice centres around energy law, primarily dealing with oil sands issues.
Although somewhat educated, I pride myself on my common sense. I love to do home improvement projects, and I am fairly handy around the house.
I am extremely "steady" in that I'm dependable, honest, and sincere. I'm not really known for "going crazy". I guess in some respects, that may be a good thing.
I was married for sixteen years, and have been divorced for eight. I have two amazing children. My daughter is 16, and my son is 20. Both live with me on a full time basis, although my son only surfaces for food.
People ask what I'm looking for in a partner, and I don't have a particularly great answer. Essentially, I looking for someone who digs me as much as I dig her (if that makes any sense).
I attended the University of Alberta for nine years, and I'm confident that I'm smarter than most stumps. Working for the government, I jokingly suggest that I know everything. Most likely I don't, although I'm fairly good at what I do.

. How would I describe myself. Well the things you would notice if you walked into a room and saw me for the first time would be a place to start. I am your average late 40's male. I like to go places where the atmosphere is quiet and the lights are low. I like to talk quietly in the dark corners, taking time to get to know someone. I am instantly friendly and initially trusting to all but those can turn quickly if the mood changes negatively. I will bend over backwards to help someone, often giving up things to someone because they need them more. I am quick to smile and easy to approach (especially for a pretty girl).
