I am originally from a small town in Ontario, and have moved to Calgary for an enginering career in the energy sector.
While I have been in the city for a few months now with my own place, I am still exploring Calgary's nooks and crannies (except the ones behind Crack Macs).
One of my favorite adventures was a road trip in Ireland with my mum. Most of the roads in Ireland are hilly, single lane, gravel roads and at times it felt we were racing in rally car. We are looking forward to our road trip this summer in the Rockies.
That being said about the mountains, I can't wait to start skiing next winter. For now I'll have to substitute with golfing.
I have joined my Alumni group, and organizing a yearly golf event around other events. I find the Alumni group a is great way to meet new people, and help others fit in.
I am an outgoing guy and like to try new things; recently I built a computer from scratch. Right now I'm looking into growing a bonsai tree, trying out a gun range, or boating on the bow river.

One of my biggest passions is music, not to just watch or listen, but most of all create, I've played a few different instruments over the years but the drums have become what I'm most enthusiastic about. Movies is a hard one I watch damn near anything. If I had to choose it would have to be the Star Wars Trilogy. Once I watch one I need to watch them all. Also if I need a good laugh I throw on a horror movie. I am always the one in the back of the theater yelling "HE IS RIGHT BEHIND YOU MORON!"
I listen to a lot of electronic music mostly dubstep although a little hard rock, classic rock and metal never hurt anyone.
