Do you know what a realistic dreamer is? It's a person that dreams and makes all his dreams into reality.
When I was a little kid, I met somebody that actually gave me that great life lesson. He looked at me and said, dream big, live hard, and make it all become a reality.
I find that most people will dream but not make it a reality, and what's the point of dreams if you can't make it reality?
What are my dreams when I'm laying in bed at night, tossing and turning, trying to find that one comfortable part of the bed. You know, in the summer time you're looking for the cool spot and in the winter time you're trying to avoid the cool spot.
But as I'm tossing and turning, I always try to dream of some of the million other places other than here. I love to travel.
I love experiencing new people, food, languages, sites, sounds and history.
When I travel, I just want to be changed by something. Last year I went to Cuba. Cuba's amazing and the trip combined two of my loves, hot, beautiful tropical weather and amazing music. Music's a very important part of the Cuban culture.
When you walk down Old Havana every single person we met was a musician or taught music. They sit out on the steps and they just play music and entertain each other and go over the day's events.
People would gather around and listen to one musician and talk about what happened that day, exchanging each other's feelings and emotions.
What was so asking about that that in today's modern society, nobody was looking down at their cell phone. Nobody was sending a Tweet. Nobody was on Facebook, because all their friends were there and that's the beauty of being able to go to other cultures. It really shows you how people still appreciate one another.
I'm all about appreciating what life has to give.
Life is a gift every single day whether I'm dealing with all the crazy drivers in there big trucks or the craze of work, I still embrace the gift of life and allow myself time to reflect and slow down.
So what am I looking for? Here is my list. Don't you love that when you go to someone's Internet profile, they list all the things they want from somebody like they're shopping for the perfect person. Like they're a perfect person themselves. What am I looking for? Someone who appreciates all the little things in life, somebody who can walk down the streets of Havana with me hand in hand listening to music, talking to the people, and sharing the experiences of life together.

I love to try new things and love to surf, learn how to longboard and snowboard this year, and Im a avid Crossfitter since I try and incorporate alot of training to prepare myself for the random races/adventures I get myself into.
