I'm not really sure what to tell ya about me, I'm a very soft spoken person and am usually pretty shy at first, I know that must seem odd coming from a military guy but that's me, but after I open up I'm usually the best kind of friend a person can have, the one that will do pretty much anything for someone else...even offer a kidney to an ex's mother... I'm extremely loyal and supportive and for some reason I seem to be a great shoulder to cry on or the perfect person to give ya a kick in the butt when needed. I'm told that I have a skill that many men don't, the ability to listen, guess i should have been a shrink lol.
I'm a fairly active person, love to play hockey, love camping when I get a chance to go, and am usually out and about. That being said I have no qualms with just sitting at home for a night and watching a movie or playing a game, yes I'm a nerd and play video games. I'm also a bit of a history nerd, I've spent the better part of my life studying the history of warfare and many other things, my head is filled with hundreds of useless facts and knowledge as a result. Not really into the bar scene, did that in my late teens and early 20's and I'm good now, I much prefer a quiet beer or glass of wine in a more private setting or with a few friends.
What am I looking for... yeah I don't really have a clue, I could describe what i consider the perfect person but really who's perfect? So basically all I care about is that you accept me for who I am cause I'm not changing, I love the way I am and so do most of the people I know so I must be doing something right lol.

I am an Elementary/High School teacher currently teaching music at a K-12 school in High Prairie, which is 4 1/2 hours away from Edmonton where my family lives. Let's talk about myself first,
I am an active independent man who is focussed on his career. I love my job because I am always constantly being challenged and always learning new things. When I am not working, I try to be active as much as possible, I go out play volleyball, jogging, swimming. Of course the sport list doesn't stop there, I play other sports as well but if I list them all, it would take too long. I also try to balance my life with some arts stuff, I love to check out new music and art. Recently I attended Edmonton Jazz Festival performances by Ndidi Onukwulu,Wil Campa, and Chris Botti. I enjoyed both of their performances especially with Wil Campa( the dancing thing is fun, you know if you went his performances). I also dance salsa on my spare time.
Some of my goals in the upcoming future is to travel the world! Gone are the days(I meant school days) where I need to sit in library and read about the world. It is time for me to explore this world. Some of the places I would to visit is Europe( I want check out the old building, churches and forts), South America and Asia( going back to visit my friends from childhood), and Australia( gotta see those koala and kangaroo). I'd love if someone could join me on these trips around the world(Two person trip is always better than one).
