I'll try to get the common stuff out of the way first.I'm a relatively young guy looking for a a relationship where neither of us are afraid to afraid to speak our minds; I've had problems with that in the past and want to avoid situations where I feel guilty for being honest. I'm easygoing and willing to learn new things, and I do care deeply about my partner's pursuits and dreams. I'm proud of my education and accomplishments, and am working in a position that I greatly enjoy.
While my job takes up a fairly large amount of my time, I will ALWAYS make time for anyone special to me. I should be frank and say that sometimes, work gets in the way. I have a position with a lot of duties and it can be overwhelming. But I don't lose sight of what's important and if conflicts can be avoided, well, I avoid them - simple as that. When they can't be avoided, however, I accept that there are things that can't be changed. I also fully recognize and respect the same trend with my partner - life can suck sometimes, and you have to go with it. There have been times when I wish I wasn't so busy, and I know that previous girlfriends of mine have felt the same way. If you can't avoid something, don't worry about it - things happen.
I respect my partner's privacy, but also highly cherish my own privacy. As far as wrapping things up goes, I try to be as open as possible and I hope for as much in a partner. I hate needless conflict and when problems arise, I always aim for rational, respectful discussions. I've done the whole "going crazy over minor arguments" thing with past girlfriends (as have they with I), and I know that I never want to be that way again. I've learned my lessons about life; it's important to be yourself. Compromises are present in every relationship, but they should change your core dreams and values. I don't want to change mine and I don't want to force anyone to change theirs.
As for other personal quirks, I GREATLY like humour of all sorts. I make bad jokes more often than I'd like to, and I enjoy finding the lighter side of situations. While I do enjoy the occasional "high-minded" bit of comedy, I (usually more likely) enjoy any type of humour.

Laughter is always important in a relationship. I have a sarcastic sense of humor sometimes, so she should get that! If your too quiet and shy, or way too outgoing, we probably wont work out. Id say that I am somewhere in the middle. I can be really outgoing when it’s just a few people, but when it’s a big group, I tend to be a bit more reserved.

For sports I play basketball, Ultimate, dodge-ball, snowboard and a long time ago was really into wrestling. Career:
I have a very different career path then most. I started Uni straight out of high school and was a science major for three years, started to hate it and dropped out. I began a career in procurement and loved it!! but figured I needed to finish school; I quit my job and went back and finished a degree in Finance. I am currently working in the Oil and Gas industry doing commodity marketing. My ultimate career goal is to own my own company one day, likely something to do with Real estate as that is an industry I seem to know the most about and more then likely to have my brother as a business partner.
Travel:
Growing up, I never had the opportunity to travel and tended to do local vacations with my family. Over the past few years I have been makig up for lost time and trying to travel as much as possible! Travel destinations thus far: Vegas, Montreal, most Canadian cities, Cuba, Mexico, Jamaica, San Fran, LA and New york. After convocation I would like to go to Japan, Europe, Thailand and Australia (to name a few).

. My name is Jason, looking to meet women who live in or near Calgary. I work on the road in the oil patch doing inspections and such. Family and friends are a big part of my life I live far away from most of my family so I don't get to see them as much as I would like, but that just means it is that much better when I do get home to see them. I grew up in a small town in Manitoba, kinda miss the small town life. But living in Calgary sure has its perks. Being so close to the mountains being the main thing. I have an Uncle that lives in Rocky Mountain House, so I my days off I like to go up there and work in his work shop on different carpentry projects.
Right now I'm working in Red Deer on a Monday to Friday gig with every second Friday off. So this has been a nice change of pace being home every weekend. I should be working on this project for the next 2 or 3 months and hopeing it'll turn into a steady position.
