Date a soulmate from Alberta, Canada. I am very easy going with a kind heart. Honesty and communication are big things for me, not only in myself, but whoever I am with. I am abit of a hopeless romantic, but I can keep a smile on your face and a flutter in your heart. Most people would say I am very down to earth and know what I want in life, and have no problem getting motiveated to get there. I have been told by many people that I am a wonderful, caring father for my son. I am confident, but not cocky about it, because i hate big egos. I have been single for awhile now and have been looking for new friends and/or a new love with a well rounded woman who likes to enjoy life as much as I do. I hope to do some major travelling in the near future to places I have only dreamed about going, like Ireland, Spain, Mexico, and many more. I love all music and pretty much all types of movies, I dont usually like scary ones, but if im cuddling with the right person I can enjoy them. If you would like to get to know me better as a friend to start, then see where it takes us, then drop me a line or send me a wink and I will get back to you. KCCO :)

Date men and women from Alberta, Canada. I am old fashioned in some ways. I believe a lady should be treated like one. I enjoy the outdoors and would like somebody who doesn't mind going on a random adventure sometimes. I am over the night club stage in my life and would like someone who would prefer to stay at home and relax or just do simple things. Going to the lake is one of the best get aways for me.

Date single boy from Alberta, Canada. Hi. My name's Matt. I would describe myself as someone who is kind, honest, and laid back. I've lived in this city all my life. My family and friends are really important to me and is probably the reason why I'm so attached to this city.
As for work, I am an engineer. I like it because it gives me a chance to use my strong science background while still being creative.
As for my ideal match, I'd like someone who is fun, kind and has a good sense of humor.
Happy hunting fellow Match.com users.
Meet a boy from Alberta, Canada. Where to start? I'll try to get the common stuff out of the way first.I'm a relatively young guy looking for a a relationship where neither of us are afraid to afraid to speak our minds; I've had problems with that in the past and want to avoid situations where I feel guilty for being honest. I'm easygoing and willing to learn new things, and I do care deeply about my partner's pursuits and dreams. I'm proud of my education and accomplishments, and am working in a position that I greatly enjoy.
While my job takes up a fairly large amount of my time, I will ALWAYS make time for anyone special to me. I should be frank and say that sometimes, work gets in the way. I have a position with a lot of duties and it can be overwhelming. But I don't lose sight of what's important and if conflicts can be avoided, well, I avoid them - simple as that. When they can't be avoided, however, I accept that there are things that can't be changed. I also fully recognize and respect the same trend with my partner - life can suck sometimes, and you have to go with it. There have been times when I wish I wasn't so busy, and I know that previous girlfriends of mine have felt the same way. If you can't avoid something, don't worry about it - things happen.
I respect my partner's privacy, but also highly cherish my own privacy. I know that everyone holds certain things dear to their heart and prefer to keep these things to themselves; I fully respect and understand that as I do tend to keep my most personal matters to myself. Despite that, I am very open with 95% of my thoughts and feelings and highly cherish a partner who does the same. If I ever come across as a pain in the ass, I respect someone who's not afraid to tell me that. I don't like being antagonistic.
As far as wrapping things up goes, I try to be as open as possible and I hope for as much in a partner. I hate needless conflict and when problems arise, I always aim for rational, respectful discussions. I've done the whole "going crazy over minor arguments" thing with past girlfriends (as have they with I), and I know that I never want to be that way again. I've learned my lessons about life; it's important to be yourself. Compromises are present in every relationship, but they should change your core dreams and values. I don't want to change mine and I don't want to force anyone to change theirs.
As for other personal quirks, I GREATLY like humour of all sorts. I make bad jokes more often than I'd like to, and I enjoy finding the lighter side of situations. While I do enjoy the occasional "high-minded" bit of comedy, I (usually more likely) enjoy any type of humour.
To finish things, off, I'm looking for a relationship in which both of us are open, honest, and accepting of each other. As for where things go, well that remains to be seen. I want us both to always be happy, and I want us to be complementary to each others; lives. I want to know what's most important to you.
Date a guy from Alberta, Canada. I recently moved from Edmonton to Calgary after graduating from school and finding a job. It is much nicer to be closer to the mountains and my family!
I'd say that I'm a straight forward person who is also kind, fun and respectful. I like to get out there and travel and explore new places. It has been a while since I travelled overseas, but I think there are so many places close to home that I have overlooked! So I hope you like road trips! But don’t worry; tropical vacations in the winter are still my fav! I like all kinds of sports and outdoor activities, hockey and snowboarding being my favorites. I also play my guitar as much as I can...And I might sing from time to time too. Lol
I am just going to cut to the chase and say what I would really like in a girlfriend. I am just going to be completely honest!
I hope to find a best friend and a partner in a relationship that is lasting, supportive, and meaningful. I want to find that special someone and create a life with her.
Laughter is always important in a relationship. I have a sarcastic sense of humor sometimes, so she should get that! If your too quiet and shy, or way too outgoing, we probably wont work out. Id say that I am somewhere in the middle. I can be really outgoing when it’s just a few people, but when it’s a big group, I tend to be a bit more reserved.
I don’t care whether you a waitress or a doctor, all I need is someone with a good head on their shoulders who can make good decisions. She has to be someone that I can count on, and someone I can trust to always do the right thing.
I don’t party or drink much, although I do like to blow a little steam off from time to time. So she should also be done with the partying stage of her life.
I prefer a girl who is at least a few inches shorter than me, fit and healthy. I work out and keep in shape so I would like it if she did the same. I dislike laziness, but I also hate a fitness freak! A good workout 3 or 4 times a week and eating healthy everyday is what I try to do.
Since I just started my new career, my job is very important to me. My schedule is usually 7 days on, 7 days off. But sometimes it’s a 10 and 4. So hopefully you have a certain amount of independence, and is ok with their partner not being home every night.
If there is anything else you want to know, just ask!
Meet a soulmate from Canada. I really don't think the woman I am looking for can be found on an Internet dating site! Call me crazy, but this is a little weird! First of all you start with the conversation then you have that first ackward meet. I don't know? But the woman I am looking for loves to be pampered and I will let here know how beautiful she really is! I don't want to hear about past relationships, that does not concern me! I want a woman who can make decisions for herself and can also take off camping or on a road trip at the drop of a hat! Someone who wants to experience a new perspective!
Date someone special from Canada. Who am I? Well I am a 27 year old healthcare professional who hasn't had a lot of luck with the traditional style of meeting people lately so I thought I'd give this a try.
I was raised and still live on a mixed ranch in central Alberta. While I am a professional, my heart is country and always will be. I have a number of accomplishments that I am proud of, both professionally and personally but I think those are better discussed in person :). I love my job (being able to help people is a great profession) and I really do enjoy going to work everyday. I'm very much a people-person and am pretty out going overall.
What I'm looking for is someone who is going to understand where I come from and where I'm headed. I'm very much western at heart, enjoy riding horses and all the fun that goes along with it. I'm a fairly athletic type person as well, love doing outdoor activities no matter the weather and I'm looking for someone to share my activities with.
Family and friends are very important to me. Due to my schooling I have friends all over North America and while we may be thousands of miles apart we still remain close.
Eventually I'd like to own my own ranch, raise a few kids and horses etc. I'm a pretty simple type person, like to be straight forward with people and treat them honestly and respectfully. I try to be a pretty straight shooter.
While I don't drink it doesn't bother me if my other half does, as long as it's decently responsible. Anything else you want to know, feel free to ask :)
Meet men and women from Canada. General stuff about me:
Born and raised Calgarian, and feel lucky to be born here! However, I cant wait to see more of the world and experience places with more culture! Places I would like to live: London, San Fran or New york. Personality wise I think of myself as being a honest, down to earth kinda of guy, and love to try new things or see the world through other peoples point of view. For negative traits I tend to be a "hate conflict" kind of person. I am fairly good cook, but hate cooking for one.
I have small family but am very close with the family I have. My parents live here in Calgary and I rarely go more then two weeks with out paying them a visit. I have one sibling, an older brother, and consider him one of my best friends.
For sports I play basketball, Ultimate, dodge-ball, snowboard and a long time ago was really into wrestling. Me and my friends are far out of the club stage and tend to go to local pubs, with that said we do try to re-live our youth and club it up every now and again; we are often reminded "Oh yeah we are too old for this" the next morning.
I have a very different career path then most. I started Uni straight out of high school and was a science major for three years, started to hate it and dropped out. I began a career in procurement and loved it!! but figured I needed to finish school; I quit my job and went back and finished a degree in Finance. I am currently working in the Oil and Gas industry doing commodity marketing. My ultimate career goal is to own my own company one day, likely something to do with Real estate as that is an industry I seem to know the most about and more then likely to have my brother as a business partner.
Growing up, I never had the opportunity to travel and tended to do local vacations with my family. Over the past few years I have been makig up for lost time and trying to travel as much as possible! Travel destinations thus far: Vegas, Montreal, most Canadian cities, Cuba, Mexico, Jamaica, San Fran, LA and New york. After convocation I would like to go to Japan, Europe, Thailand and Australia (to name a few).
I would like to find someone that shares my interests, has a good heart, and is independent!
Please ask me anything you'd like to know!n
Date people from Canada. Hi,
Lets see, I have a great career in which I enjoy and always try to keep active after work. I play for 2 different soccer teams and in a squash league. I enjoy cooking, watching movies, and a couple pints here and there. I love to travel, been to several countries in Europe, the States, down south, etc. I come from a Italian/Croatian background, and am very familiar with the languages.
I'm looking for a woman that's honest, good-hearted, and fun/outgoing.. Someone I can hangout with, and get to know.
-feel free to get in touch.
Meet single boy from Canada. These events they talk about on the tele look interesting..
If I were to narrow down my passions, playing guitar and tennis definitely stand on top. But I have many other interests that run fairly deep. There aren't many things I don't enjoy and I'd like to find someone who has some similar interests but also different ones that they can share with me.
If somewhere on your to do list there is a whole section reserved for travel, we'd get along just fine there. Road trips, last minute flights, or a planned unplanned vacation, all great in my books.
On the flip side, I'd like to stay indoors for a whole weekend discovering as much as we can about each other. Doesn't need to be a crazy adventure to be the most memorable moment. Would you agree?
Date a boy from Canada. well here i sit here trying to find the words to describe myself and i am drawing a blank my friends would say that i have a dark sense of humor and that i love to laugh even at myself i enjoy being outdoors in the summer the winter i like to stay warm enjoy a movie on the sofa and just relax
Meet a guy from Canada. I'm an optimistic happy person. I am Chef and spend a lot of my life with food. I love a good meal and a glass of wine. I like going out to a bar with friends and unwinding after a good week. I am passionate about traveling, and I would love to have fifty stamps on my passport. I'm looking for an awesome, relaxed person who enjoys live music, seeing the world and having fun in this life.
It's quite a thing describing yourself and your wants to people you've never met. Honestly, I think we're all looking for a best friend that's awesome and lovely. I don't know what to expect from this thing, but that's what I hope for one day. Someone to share this crazy ride with.
My life is always crazy, but it's never boring.
I'm the kind of guy who wants to try everything once. I enjoy variety and changes in my life. Boring people are not my friends. In a relationship I'm the guy that does a lot of really sweet things all the time, be it writing 100 I love you notes and scattering them around the bedroom, or surprising you with a trip to another country. I'm looking for someone who has a good head on their shoulders, is confident and not the crazy insecure type. I'm a pretty busy guy. I'm hoping to find the perfect someone that is passionate about what they are doing, has a ton of great goals ahead of them, and is living life to the fullest. I plan on conquering the world, one day of awesomeness at a time. If you like to eat amazingly, see the best things, and have the most fun possible, while working hard at what you love, then your my lobster.
. My name is Jason, looking to meet women who live in or near Calgary. I work on the road in the oil patch doing inspections and such. Usually off for a week or 2 at a time and then gone working for a month or so. I'm just looking to meet friends and see where it goes I guess, I'm new to this online thing. Pretty laid back guy, I like to mountain bike, snowboard, run and just gernerally stay active. In the summers camping is always a goodway to spend a long weekend. I enjoy being close to a lake for some water sports. I really enjoy music, all different kinds, mainly the older stuff. For example Bob Dylan, Travelling Wilburrys, Foreigner, Jane's Addiction, Older Green Day (dookie and kerplunk ect) I usualy listen to the older stuff, classic rock one might say, music ain't what it used to be. lol I uaully start in slow with a relationship, I like to get to know the woman before getting to serious. I think the best kind of relationships are built on a good friendship. I enjoy travelling, but haven't gone off the continent for 5 YEARS now, way to long.
That should change this march, I'm going to try and meet up with a buddy in south america, hope it works out. He still hasn't left yet, we were supose to go down there in Febuary, but this month is almost over so we'll try for March or April.
I'm looking a women who has her life together, likes to be active and enjoys being outside. Someone who doesn't always have to be going to to the next big party or whatever. Is just as happy to stay in for the night curled up on the couch. Someone who knows what she wants and isn't against making the first move not that it is required ;) Always up for something new and different, likes to get a rush from an activity. I find women who are independent and confident with themselves to be a big turn on.
Family and friends are a big part of my life I live far away from most of my family so I don't get to see them as much as I would like, but that just means it is that much better when I do get home to see them. I grew up in a small town in Manitoba, kinda miss the small town life. But living in Calgary sure has its perks. Being so close to the mountains being the main thing. I have an Uncle that lives in Rocky Mountain House, so I my days off I like to go up there and work in his work shop on different carpentry projects.
Right now I'm working in Red Deer on a Monday to Friday gig with every second Friday off. So this has been a nice change of pace being home every weekend. I should be working on this project for the next 2 or 3 months and hopeing it'll turn into a steady position.
