I've recently moved back to Edmonton to pursue a degree in Engineering. To pay my way through school I am still on contract with my old employer. My education takes up most of my time; it's not an easy path, but it's the one I know I belong on. I'm very technologically inclined, in my previous career I was "The Computer Guy". But don't let that fool you, I'm actually quite normal and I have a strong creative, artistic side.. Three years ago I began to teach myself how to play the guitar, and since then I've added a couple of instruments to my collection, including but not limited to the ukulele, banjo, mandolin, and harmonica. What can I say? I like making noise. Needless to say music is a big influence in my life. My musical tastes include punk, rock, classic rock, bluegrass, and folk. My favorite bands include Social Distortion, CCR, Old Crow Medicine Show, Rancid, The Band and many others depending on what kind of mood I'm in.
