So instead of putting my best foot forward, here's my worst foot. It'll probably be more fun to ready, anyways.
1) Sometimes I won't buy groceries for weeks, eat out all the time, and then eat peanut butter straight from the jar for a snack.
2) I have a bad habit of not folding my laundry.
3) Sometimes it takes me, like, three times to tie a tie to the right length.
4) I have a weakness for gin. You put a little vermouth and an olive in there and I just can't say no.
5) After indulging too much in point 4, I will dance. I will dance emphatically, energetically, and I will think that I'm doing an awesome job of it.
6) I don't recycle consistently.
7) When at a restaurant and the server pours a little wine in my glass to taste, I will sip it, swish it around my mouth, and then nod as though I have the slightest clue about what good wine is.
8) If I go shopping for a single shirt I will walk away having bought way more than a shirt and having spent way too much money.
9) I did a degree in English Lit, have bookshelves full of books, and barely read anymore. That's just dumb.
10) I am terrible at planning things.
But seriously, there's plenty of good stuff too. I promise!

I have a great career, a home, a side business, and a great relationship with my family. My relationship with my family is unique and i'm fairly blessed to have 2 role models that also turned out to be 2 of my closest friends. Both myself, along with my friends can easily and casually hang with my folks. Its a blast really, and almost refreshing to spend some time with a crowd like that.

I really enjoy traveling, and its something i want to continue to do throughout my life. I Just recently got back from backpacking around the UK and Europe. I went solo, and it was such an amazing journey. Next trip im planning is a 10 day kayaking trip in Belize.

I am looking for someone that has matured past the bar scene and enjoys finer things in life. I am very passionate about my job and couldn't think of doing anything else. An ideal woman for me has a few things in common but has many other interests that she could indulge on me. I guess if I was to get anything out of setting up this account it would be to find someone who enjoys most of the same things that I enjoy. Aside from being active and liking the outdoors, I do enjoy quiet evenings at home, maybe watch some movies or go for little walks, but normally nothing to crazy during the week because I work fairly long hours. Weekends are a different story. If I am not planning some sort of weekend get away, I do like to hit up a pub with friends and have a good time. I also love going to concerts and other live performances or festivals. I think I would consider myself to have a really good sense of humor. I like to make people laugh and I like to laugh as much as I can. I am a happy guy that is extremely easy going, Im sure my friends could tell you the same. I would say that I am a bit of a romantic, I like doing anything and everything I can to make the girl I am with happy. I said that I work fairly long hours, this is not always the case. I work in construction,I am a journeyman carpenter and work for a large construction company that works on large infrastructure projects. With my time in this company I have worked on many bridges, I worked on a dam and worked on a large windmill project. I enjoy my work, it takes me to different places and new experiences. My home base is probably always going to be Calgary unless later in life I or We decide that a change is in order and we get up and move somewhere totally different. I have always thought about what it would be like to live the simple life somewhere beside the ocean in South America or Asia, or anywhere. I'm not looking for a mother for him just someone who will be a positive influence in his life. I have a great job and really love what I do. I'm originally from BC and most of my friends and family are back home, so the few I have out here are very important to me. I have a good sense of humour and love to laugh and joke around as much as possible. I'm really easy going, and I'll try anything once, you never know when you'll like something. My health is very important to me, I try my best to eat well and I workout at least 4 days a week. Im extremely honest and straight forward, and want the same in return. When I can I like to get out and have a good time, I prefer the pub scene more than he club scene, but I will go once in a while if my friends are going.
