Well this bothers a lot of people but. I have never drank, don't plan to, don't smoke and have never done drugs.... no idea why this bugs people but that's just me. I am not Mormon or anything it's just how I am.
I will treat a girl right, I will never hit them, never abuse, treat them as they are meant to be treated because that's what I'd ask in return. I was raised right and know how to appreciate a companion.
Music:
I am in love with music. All sorts, appreciate great sound, good lyrics and unique songs. My favourite artists are John Legend, Kanye West, Michael Jackson, Bryan Adams, and a lot of others. The not so famous ones are on Youtube and I have a ton of favourites on there. Genres really include everything besides Metal, I need to be able to understand lyrics. Sorry.
What I am about - Just a poem I wrote.
A small appreciation for the effort that she took
The few extra moments to perfect her look
A new shade of lipstick, a bit of extra care
Even the new way she styled her hair.
Do you even notice the time that is taken,
Do you even care for the words that are spoken
The feelings she shows you that you ignore
Starts to wonder what shes trying for.
Take a moment, think back to that day.
You swept her off her feet, what did you say?
Did you notice then, what she wants you to see now?
The time that's taken to make you say wow.
She bats her eyes, and gives you that stare.
You say something sweet, to remind her you care.
That even a small compliment, the smile it brings,
Showing her you do notice, the little things.
What I am looking for:
-A woman, not girl.
- Someone mentally stable, I don't need you to have money, just don't like drama.
- Maturity, this is where the woman comment comes in.
- Sense of humour, I can be very sarcastic, I want someone who can get it.
- Caring, I love a big heart, someone that I feel appreciates me, simple.
- Attraction is important to me, but not top priority, if I am going to spend a long time with you, I gotta like what I am looking at. I feel that's mutual for most people.
- Intelligence, I don't need someone with a degree, when I say intelligence I mean someone with life smarts, I could care less if you can read a book and pass a test, if you don't know how to cross the street or talk to a human.

Someday my goal is to build a sustainable business that doesn't eat up 100% of my time, and that allows me to spend time with my family, as well as travelling. I really enjoy shooting film, and I want to have my own darkroom setup again someday.
Last year was a big travel year for me, as took a 3 week trip to Europe with 1 week in the US on each side! We visited Austria, Germany, and Holland. I really like Vienna, but I also loved spending time in the small towns of Holland and biking around, etc. I really need to work on those pictures!
I find the best times are had when great conversations happen - conversations that are spontaneous, honest, and real. Hence I love sitting around fires, in a hot tub, or any other situation where great talks happen. I am a good listener, but if you engage me or I have something to say I have no problems sharing my thoughts!
Someday I want to live in a house with a big yard, and plant a garden. Maybe in Calgary, maybe not. I guess I take after my Dad, because he loves gardening, but I find it pretty awesome to be able to plant tiny seeds, wait a while, and voila! edible things!
