Don't get me wrong, I miss the ocean, but the mountains are closer here and that's pretty damned good. I'm a pretty busy guy right now. In terms of what I am looking for on this site I would have to say that its an open book. I think because of my busy life its hard to find time to really meet people and engage with them in a way that allows you to see a connection when there is one. The night time and nightlife for me are times to relax and enjoy the moment as my busy schedule can keep me tied up sometimes. For this reason when I am out I find myself looking for great friends, great times and great conversation and not preoccupying myself with finding love. Does this mean I am too busy to be in a relationship? Not at all, I just prefer to have a natural connection rather than a forced "compatibility" conversation. Perhaps this site can help alleviate some of the compatibility questions and let the personalities do the matchmaking.
There is far too much to know about a person to a) make it feasible to constrain it to this text box and b) make it entertaining enough to keep someone reading without thinking its a school project or reading assignment.

I'm almost always in a good mood and don't let little stuff that doesn't matter get to me. I prefer someone who takes care of themselves. Fitness is huge for ME, but not necessary for you. It would be good to share this in common, but as long as you are somehow active and take care of yourself - I'm happy.
I want someone who can hold a conversation, and discuss differences - not feel the need to argue about them. Arguing or fighting accomplishes nothing. I don't like games, as they lead to nothing but dis-trust and problems. Honesty, all the time, no matter what is something I truly believe in as a must in any healthy relationship.
I am also looking for someone who is very respectful and be able to show appreciation when its deserved. There is nothing worse then going out of your way for someone and them blowing it off like its no big deal - must appreciate the small things that matter because I truly feel its those small things that do make a difference in happiness. Little notes here or there, bringing home flowers or little somethings just to show I was thinking of you....I do that a lot and what I have come to realize is that I really do need someone who appreciates this type of treatment and thought.
I grew up on a farm, so I definitely have a little bit of country boy left in me. I'm quite confident that my work ethic, ambition, and drive are all derived from how I was raised - and a big part of that would be growing up on a farm. Yes, I love country music ... it brings me back to my teens sitting in a tractor and working in the fields.....when life was simple, and easy.
