Date a guy from Canada. It was in late July when I was in Santos, Brazil with my choir. We were in a community centre in a very poor part of town. Houses were made from sheets of scrap metals. People were making not more than a couple dollars a day. The community centre kept kids off the streets by occupying them with music and theater. We were invited for a cultural exchange, where we each performed for each other. Even under the humid Brazilians heat, we performed our hearts out. Tears rolled down their faces as a signed that we've inspired them.
That's when I know, the reason why love to sing and perform for everyone.
