I am a very hard working dedicated person and I live life to it’s fullest. I laugh often and am very optimistic. In my free time I spend lots of time with my children (they live with me half time, and they live very close by), play turntables( no actual instruments), exercise daily, mountain bike, ride jet skis and 4 wheelers in the summer and snowboard in the winter. I always try to keep busy doing something. Oh and I LOVE to cook.

Meet single man from Canada. Hhmmm. How do I start? Well, first things first. I am a father of two amazing boys. This is where about 75% of you stop reading. LOL. They are the best part of my life. But, I'm here to talk about me. I am divorced, and I have my kids about 75% of the time. Which I love! They are my best friends. Oh ya, talk about me. HAHA. I'm tall, dark, and handsome! Actually, no I'm not. I'm 6', white and average looking. I am a real geek sometimes. I thoroughly enjoy watching programs about space, planets and all that crazy stuff. I pretty much enjoy all superhero movies! I'm kinda shy when I first meet somebody, but if you throw some conversation my way I can usually keep the awkwardness to a minimum. Frankly, I find it much easier to write about myself than talk about myself: I can plan and put thought into what I'm going to say, rearrange passages, cut portions of boring, uninteresting copy and edit or refresh my profile whenever I want. Plus, who better to write my profile than me? I know myself pretty well--I mean, I've lived with me for 30 years, so I hope I'd know enough about me to write about myself.
I'm an independent, thoughtful, mature, compassionate, funny, fascinating, charming, sophisticated, stylish, handsome, charismatic, and of course, modest fellow. I'm something of an introvert, but in no way does that mean my personality is comparable to a block of wood or that I don't like to get out.
Cycling (on the sidewalks, cause that's how I roll,) taking my dogs to the park, and snowshoeing make up the bulk of my active life. Snowshoeing is hard! A few years ago I got into physiotherapy for a back injury, and have been doing it a few times a week ever since. Once in a while I think to myself, 'I should come to the gym more often, this isn't so bad,' but I've become an expert at finding something better to do, admittedly.
I love to read--always have a book on the go, and I tear through them fast. I'll read pretty much everything, and like to stay informed.
Travelling is a passion of mine, and I don't get to do it nearly enough these days. You'll never find me in an all-inclusive joint playing volleyball along side 1,200 other guests; instead, I will be immersed in the local culture, soaking up all the rich smells, sights, flavours and unique way of life.
I'm looking for someone. Don't know who yet, but I know they're out there: someone smart who comes with a sense of humour. Somebody with depth. Someone who is positive, likes to have fun, and get out and do things. Somebody who has a life of their own, their own plans, their own goals, etc.
Someone compassionate, somebody adventurous. Someone who thinks making cookies at 2:47 a.m. or driving to the middle of nowhere on a weekend just to see what's there isn't weird or quirky--OR knows they're both weird and quirky but doesn't care.
Somebody who thinks lounging around on a weekend is cool, but is game for going to a pub or a movie. Someone who thinks peanut butter goes with everything (not a deal breaker.) Perhaps most important of all: someone who agrees that downhill skiing and snowboarding are waaay too dangerous and painful.

Attributes: Hard working and motivated, I enjoy solitude but am also chatty, I am on a constant mission in this life to try and see new things which I never have before, I am well traveled as I have lived in many places in North America.
Hobbies: Fishing, biking, hiking and anything outdoors! I also enjoy just chilling to country music, oil painting or hanging out and watching a movie. I like to work on cars and trucks, I am currently working on my Masters part time (which is not technically a hobby i guess), I have really enjoyed exploring parts of Canada since I moved here since I find it a rather different and fascinating place.
My “perfect match” would be someone who is family oriented, easy going (big emphasis on the easy going part), and no emotional baggage, attractive and laughs a lot. I have never been married, divorced or had any children and it would be ideal for me to find someone who is the same. I enjoy going out for drinks and entertaining myself but at the same time saving money for the future and vacations, so it would be nice to find someone that ok with that.
