I joined match.com to see if i can find that special someone, the person who could be my best friend and more. Seems harder now a days to meet new people in the city. You either get set up by your friend's roommate's mother's neighbor's dogwalker's hairstylist's friend they just meet and don't really know. Or a club/bar which im not really that big into.
I am from Calgary, born and raised. I love it here in the city and can't see moving too far away from it if that ever came up. All of my family lives here and I am extremely close with them all.
A few of my interests and passions in life would be friends and family, music, cooking and food, cars, art, and tattoos just to name a few. Don't think i could really scratch the surface of that topic with only 3000 characters remaining. I enjoy going for random drives and day trips outside of the city, to new movies, hockey games, a drink or two at a pub, out door activities, and almost any live music performance except Country. Sorry can't really stand it haha.
I can be a bit of a goof and a bit of a nerd. I love to laugh and enjoy life. It is too short to take seriously all the time, but not short enough that every day has to be jammed packed with someone new everyday. That could get too much and burn you out. I have a great career that I enjoy and would change it.
I would like to travel more and see some of the world in the future. Been all over most of Canada and the north western states with my car. Which I love those types of cruises but going somewhere where I don't have to drive would be a nice change.
As I said before I am very passionate about tattoos. It was my dream when I was younger to become a tattoo artist (still design the odd tattoo here and there though) but a wrist injury wrecked that. Thats a story for another time though. Every tattoo that I have has it's own deep story behind why it is there. That is one of the things I love about them. As well as how vivid all the memories are for them. But when it comes to tattoos the one thing I do not like is random, miss mashed flash art placed anywhere that will probably be removed in a few years. I love hearing about people's own experiences and memories as well as sharing my own.
What am I looking for in someone? Can't really say I have some set list to be checked off. Ultimately I am looking for a long term relationship. I do not expect someone to have every single interest that I have, but I would like to share in a few. Similiar goals in life would be great. Someone who can be laid back and doesn't see life as a rat race that if your not doing something new, different, and off the wall insane crazy every waking moment of every day they get bored. Its more fun being spontanious and random then "omg we have to do this and then this and oooh ooh now now now" lol. I guess thats a simple way of putting it.

I moved to Canada about a year ago and have found that Canadians are shockingly nice people! Seriously! Really like living here (though I do miss my family and friends) and would to find somebody who I could connect with. I'm the most easy going person you'll meet.....I'm practically horizontal! Things i'm interested in are cooking (I'm a dab hand with a wok!), Snowboarding (spend a lot of weekends in Banff), Music (I once sang karaoke in front of 3,000 people....and even managed to get an applause at the end!), socializing (you just can't beat a cold beer and a cracking conversation!), watching Will Ferrell movies (the man is a genius!).
I'd love to find someone to simply do stuff with - hiking, snowboarding/skiing, going to restaurants, curling up on a couch watching movies, going to hockey games.
