Meet a soulmate from Canada. This is the story of proseandcons. Once upon a time, about 30 years ago, he was born in Edmonton, Alberta. He lived a normal life, grew up, graduated from school and moved to Calgary for work. He thought things were going well. And then 2009 came along and life kicked him squarely in the balls. But he survived that challenge and emerged a stronger and a better man (or so he hopes). Since then, and because of it, he's seen monsoon rains in the backwaters of Kerala, models in Milan, been exposed to radiation in Sweden and witnessed all the glory the oil sands of Alberta have to offer. He exercises regularly, plays on an Ultimate Frisbee team that keeps choking in championship games (not anymore, we won! Whooooooooo!), still loves movies, music and playing guitar. In short, he thinks he's got his life back on track, and is now looking for that special girl to share it with.

. I am a pretty easy going person that likes to have fun. My family and friends are definitely important to me. I love to travel when i have the time. Thats just a few things ... You want to know more just ask.

. Life...what is life about? How do you define life? What is the point of life? I believe that life is about surrounding yourself with good people and having great experiences. Simple as that! Part of that is finding the good people or the "special someone" to share those great experiences and someone who will be there you through thick and thin and that you will be there for.
That being said, I enjoy walks on the beautiful beaches of Calgary, laying on my polar bear rug in front of a fireplace, etc etc etc.

. Im 5'8" with long brown hair. I'm a guy who is pretty relaxed and likes to be myself. I dress the way I want and say what's on my mind. Always. But I'm never rude. I'm serious about life and what I need to do in it. Ive been a carpenter for 10 years now and am very good with my hands. I have alot of hand/power tools which is probably not very interesting to most women but its what i do and like. I like to keep in shape so I exercise daily. I bike, rollerblade, jog(which I hate) and anything to keep busy. I have alot of energy. But not always! I don't ice skate but I have skates if anyone wants to try? I'm buying a home soon which I'm proud of because I'm doing it on my own. I have my own car. I'm very independent. I don't smoke or do drugs(the odd joint is ok). I don't care if a woman smokes pot just not cigarettes. I really don't drink at all. I'm not a fitness freak believe me. I just want to be healthy that's all. Healthy seems boring? But I'm fun! and have a great sense of humor!!
The woman(not girl) I'm looking for can be whoever she wants to be. The things I listed about myself doesn't mean she has to be like me! That would suck! Ya know? Having a woman in my life Would be great. Just someone with different feelings then me. Someone who is softer and has a look on life in a different view then myself. Alone time and going out separately helps too. And sex is very important as well. Why wouldn't it be! Trying to keep things interesting is half the fun. I know I probably go off topic when I talk but usually I try to write down what's on my mind. It makes a conversation a little more off key and can keep things interesting. But anyways, I'm done talking for now.
