I am laid back and takes things as they come. I have stressful job so I keep things pretty laid back in my personal life.

Date someone special from Canada. I was in New York City several years ago with some friends and we crossed paths with a couple that deemed to be " relationship experts." They were both writers, mid 40's, trendy, and managed to convince us that they indeed were the real deal. She was writing an excerpt for a book called " The Secret Currency of Love " ( I looked it up on iTunes, it's there). They sat with us and we ended up spending an intense evening dissecting relationships. So here's the consensus from these two so called "experts." Apparently, one of the biggest mistakes women make is that often they seek advice about relationships and men from other women. She said that often their girlfriends are not getting it right but they are the ones who women listen to and will more than likely seek the advice from. I think she used the term " ministering from a position of pain" never works. You be the judge. Accurate? Hoakey?
I'm grounded, disciplined, and have a career in the city. My friends would tell you I'm reliable and moderately sarcastic. I don't have a preference as to where I go out as long as everyone is having a good time - concerts, festivals, random sports, restaurants -Edmonton is limited. I love to travel to warm places and ski a bit in the winter months.
Some of my favorite movies include; the Town (B. Affleck), the Road (V.Mortensen) and Forgetting Sarah Marshall (J.Segal). My friends and family are close and the majority of them live here. My ideal match would be someone who is confident, can make me laugh, is outgoing, balanced, passionate, and equally capable of bringing a man back to his centre effortlessly. Great smiles are a plus.

Meet a soulmate from Canada. Well im not very good at this, but ill give it a go. I have a good job and am established. Im not into games, I love being outdoors, camping, hiking, biking, slowpitch, fishing, snowboarding, golfing and of course hockey. I also love to scubadive, i got my padi license a few years ago, and am trying to keep that going, but diving in Alberta is not quite as exciting as the ocean. I also love going to concerts and music festivals and stuff like that. I like to be adventureous and spontaneous, Im always up for trying new things like skydiving (although i havent actually done that yet). hhhmmmmm, music... I like all sorts of music, not huge on country, but can tolerate it. Kind of hard not to when you live here. I also love to travel, iv been all over Europe and Australia, and recently got back from South East Asia, and there will be many more. and you cant forget going down to the pub with friends, thats just as fun as anything else.
What im looking for i guess is someone who is independant, fun and has similiar interests as me. Honesty and trust is important. Other then that i dont think i really have a "type"
