I'm 34, quite active, in good shape with a stable job that challenges me every day. I've been in Calgary about 10 years now, but am still exploring my surroundings as often as I can.
I'm an easygoing, funny, cheerful, intellectual kinda guy who loves having long conversations over coffee as much as getting dressed up for the theatre or spending the day paddling across a lake in a canoe. I also enjoy whipping up new things in the kitchen as well.
Yes a guy that, not only can, but *enjoys* cooking. Yeah, I know, I wouldn't believe it either. :)

In the winter you'll probably find my searching for the snow, now I know most people like to get away for the winter but I can't get enough of it. I'm close to my friends and family, am very laid back and easy going, and i'm told i'm above average in the humor department, yet i can't remember jokes to save my life. Unlike some people that lie on their profile I tell it the way it is. yes I'm a heavy set guy 6' 270lb and you would never believe at one point in my life I was only 10lb ;) Wish everyone was honest about this, yes i could say a few extra pounds but hey I am what I am. I think there is no reason to lie about your self because at some point we well meet up with each other and the truth will come out. Believe me had a date where the woman lied about her age, name, and size and that was a instant deal breaker and a waist of time for both of us. Guess my story is honesty goes a long way in a relationship and should start from the beginning!
I like long walks in the Mountains and long walk around the parks in the city with my dog. People say they like camping but I have a tent that is larger then most RV's out there 10x17, I might buy a smaller one this year ;) yes I sleep on a air bed when I camp. Have travel plans and places I want to see in the next couple of years. also been getting into to going to see live music, mostly in pubs or cafes.
Something I started to do in the last year was taking road trips to on the back roads and take pics of old barns and farm houses. I don't keep many of them as I'm very very picky what pictures are saved.
I’m a board game fanatic! Love getting together with my friends and new people to play board games with, and not your average board games.
I like movies, horror and Zombies! But like to watch them all even the romance ones (to tell you the truth the romance is kinda at the bottom of the list ;) )
