Date people from Alberta, Canada. I live in Fort Saskatchewan which believe or not is not in Saskatchewan. I am just 15 minutes outside Edmonton. Gotta put this in there as there are way too many people who just don't get that.
I just celebrated my 35th Birthday, another year wiser and another year older. I have a lot to be thankful for as I feel very fortunate. I have a wonderful family, a 6 year old son who is going on 18 lol, he lives with me 50% of the time. I have great friends who I know I can depend on and know that they can depend on me. Got a roof over our heads, I bought my new truck, and I am hoping to pick up a travel trailer for the weekend getaways to where ever we want to go. I have an awesome job that keeps me busy, close to home and everyday is different. Two small dogs who are more like kids than animals, funny how we see them in that light.
Some of my friends tell me I seem to have everything and have the perfect life..... I may be fortunate to have what I have and as I said I am very thankful, but truth is I don't have everything... Hence why I am on here. I am looking for that special someone who I can spend my life with, I know she is out there somewhere...
Material things are just that.... material. Life isn't about material things, its about life and living it.

A fresh start. I was living my life in black and white, somebody turned the color on and now everyday is an adventure. I'm reinventing myself, keeping the good an working on better.

Cooking for me is a daily adventure don't be surprised if I decide to try cooking tradition Italian risotto or next week Cantonese. For me food and cooking had always been a. Important part of my life because I believe the heart of the home is in the kitchen.
As for my work I spend a lot if time away from home it's difficult but a means to an end and I will not end up there forever.
That said home time is very important to me and I try to make the best of every moment.
