Ok.. more about me! :) I've been told I'm a nice guy and a great catch for someone wonderful. Sometimes shy, sometimes silly.. other times reserved and soft spoken, I am young-at-heart, earthy, passionate, even-tempered and an optimist. I love to have fun through sport and being generally active. (I like to stay fit and eat healthy, though I do have quite a sweet tooth) I do like to try new things and challenge myself.
I am spiritual but not religious. I take things easy and don't take life too seriously, although I can be serious when I need to. I'm a thinker and a lover. And I do smile more than laugh. :) I am a single parent of a young son (who I love) who I get to spend time with (though he lives with his Mum).
Alright.. my pet peeves: Loud people, repititious people, and excessive swearing. I'm not too keen on pickup trucks, Quads/ATVs, motorbikes, smoking, drugs or general rudeness. (I know.. why do I live in Alberta!?) I don't like people who are easily angered, couch potatoes, or the jealous types. I'm also not too keen on people who waste things (food, money, the environment, etc.), repetitive people, or people who can't speak proper English.

Camping is a big part of my summer be it out 4x4ing, quading, ball tournaments, BC road trips, or a little national park family camping with some daytime hikes and a trip to the springs. With that being said I can still "black tie" it up in the city, head out clubbing or just stay in with movies and a fire with wine. Country raised and after living in calgary, edmonton, and vancouver over the years i like to visit the city and stay close but an acreage out side city limits is my style. I work with my hands and take my work life seriously enough to be a stable provider and role model to my kids but i also know how to be a kid and not sweat all the little stuff and still have fun with life!!. I am very handy and a automotive gear head but I also cook, clean, and change diapers when needed... Im fairly new to Calgary and I moved here because of my job, but Calgary is starting to grow on me a bit, but there is so much more I have yet to discover, so Im looking for a guide!!
