So as we go through life, we learn a lot .... that might sound overly generalized or a little cliche... but I think it has its relevancy because of the truth it holds. The things we go through are what make us of who we are today.
To me...all of our lives are like a really big book with many many chapters that make us who we are (I tend to use a lot of metaphors at times that helps to relate).
I like and want everything in life....and I want to make the most of it... maybe one of the most important things to know about me is that everything i do...I do my best... and see how it plays out. .. ..no regrets.
I have some passions in life that are a big part of who I am:
.- I love travelling (beaches and hot weather are big places of interest)...but i don't usually do the "touristy" thing... i like the deserted islands and beaches that no one has walked on for days. When people ask me "why".... it's harder to answer the question "why not".
- I LOVE good food and wine and love to cook and be creative... but I am a sucker for my pints of beer and wings as well.
- I'm rarely bored..work takes up a lot of my time, but I think its important to keep things interesting.... Balance.
- Try my best to stay healthy and active....and try take care of myself... I intend on using it for a long time yet.
I find that the people that i'm attracted to are... ambitious, active with positive outlooks that have a pretty good energy, a good sense of humour, and basically have that "little bit of everything" to them.
I'm alittle competitive and love challenges....
Not a fan of negativity... life's too short to be angry all the time.

Like many people on this site, I am interested in meeting that special someone. I don't know if this is the place it will happen, but why not give it a try? I am at the point in my life where I have a good career, my own home and a good group of friends. So overall things are quite good, but having a partner in my life would make things even better.
As for my interests, summertime is all about tennis (just a beginner right now), floating down the elbow, sitting on a patio and heading out on the occasional road trip for good measure. In the winter, I like to hit the slopes, play volleyball and even attend the occassional performance at the CPO (Carmina Burana was excellent).
Travelling is also a major interest of mine. In the last few years I have had the chance to scuba dive in Hawaii, hike up to the Acropolis in Greece and windsurf in the Mediterranean. There have been a few other places as well, but you can always ask about them later.
And as my screen name implies, I do have a dry and sarcastic sense of humour. It comes with the territory of being a brit (unfortunately the accent is long gone though).
