I am just a guy who loves to live life. I love to stay in shape by working out and practicing Brazilian Jui-jitsu. I am in a great career that I love. I have lived in Calgary for over 5 years now and I love it here. I am a laid back guy and I enjoy pretty much all kinds of movies and spend my weekends either hanging out with buddies and watching UFC at a pub or hittin the gym. Don't get me wrong I'm not a muscle head but I do feel that you need to take care of your body and stay in shape. I do Yoga every week and I am looking to to pursue my teaching designation hopefully by next year. I do have a spontaneous side as well and that can include taking a road trip to Banff for some hiking or doing something extreme like wall climbing.

A little about me... My profile will tell you that I'm 5'11, 185lbs, have brown hair and Hazel eyes. What it won't tell you, is that I'm extremely passionate about my family, my friends and my career. I am very lucky to have been reasonably successful to this point in my career and that that success allows me to enjoy the parts of my life that I really enjoy... like family time, hanging out with friends, participating in various sports, giving something back to worthy causes and traveling.
I have a great group of friends. We are fairly typical Eng. / Arch / Science nerds... whatever... it's all good - we accepted our collective "nerdiness" a long time ago... and have never looked back. I think my friends would describe me as "Mr. Happy-Go-Lucky"... I'm always in a good mood and I'm fun to be around. They may also tell you that I am the first person to offer to help you move your couch, start your car when the battery dies, hang out just because you feel like crap, or tell some jokes just to get people laughing. I also tend to be the social coordinator for the group. I like to host Super Bowl parties, bbq's or try to get everybody excited about seeing a particlar movie or a concert.

I love being around people that also enjoy being active and doing outdoor activities as well as trying new things. I tend to veer away from drama,gossip, and undesirables and so I currently keep my circle of friends very small. I enjoy some cooking and definately eating at home can be an enjoyable time although the occasional night dining out is a must. I'm no chef but I can feed people well enough to keep them alive?? Lol a matter of opinion perhaps. Normally I am quite shy but if the chemistry is there then you will have trouble shutting me up.
