Date single man from Alberta, Canada. Wikipedia's definition of Introversion pretty much describes me perfectly although I can be a bit of a loudmouth. I am shy when it comes to meeting women (my reason for being on this sight) but I would not classify myself as shy in general. Raised by a fairly hardcore feminist I've been taught respect and great family values. I am pretty easy going, sensitive and caring. My humor is sarcastic and am the 1st to make a wise-ass comment. Not a big fan of crowds, I prefer hanging out with a few friends at a pub and avoid clubs like the plague. A computer geek by trade but I'm not sure if you could tell by my personality. Travelling is something I have just started getting into-I would really like to explore the rest of the world. I am after someone with similar interests although I am open to trying new things for sure. I absolutely LOVE to eat at different restaurants - sushi is probably my favorite but I will try anything (almost) once! Cooking is also a passion of mine-I am not sure how good I am, but I do prefer my food over most restaurants.
I made a list of traits I'd like to see while trying to explain to someone how they'd be compatible so I figured I'd post it:
-smart, intelligent & have common sense
-mellow and down to earth
-trusting/trustworthy - to do this, basically don't bottle up everything, communicate and let me know how/what you are feeling and I will do the same. I am fairly private but I want someone I can talk to about things.
-funny/sarcastic-not the stuck up/I'm better than you type
-NO SMOKING
-not materialistic -toys are great but you don't need prada bags if you can't afford it although I tend to have the latest/greatest cell phone at all times
-work shouldn't be the most important thing-its great to be focused & goal oriented but home life should be much more important-must like to have fun
-prefer pubs over clubs (I'll go but don't expect me to dance very well!!)
-can handle camping at least 1 weekend a yr(that says a lot - means you can get dirty once in a while I guess)
-can tolerate the fact I don't drive for now...I am working on it though. It was just a personal preference of mine.
-doesn't mind staying in and watching movies/tv once in a while-don't always need to be doing something basically-I love the outdoors, but I also enjoy relaxing at home too
-not a vegetarian - I love meat so you have to as well!
-must love music-not counting pop/radio rock
