I'm no expert in cooking, but I do watch the food network for some good stuff, but if you cook, I'll clean the dishes. I've come across many people looking for love and upon reflection, have found that many have a pre-set outlook life and love, even though they may say differently.
Myself, I've loved and I've lost, and no matter which position I was in, they both definitely made me feel alive. Here's my deal:
I'm a well-adjusted, flexible, curious personality with a first-class sense of humour, packaged inside the traditional 6-foot shipping container. The stylish, upgraded upholstery is suitable for all conditions, indoor and out, office and industrial. (I make fire-retardant, high-visibility coveralls and safety boots look GOOD. Hard hats make for bad hair days, though.)
I come with an outside adult daycare office overlooking the big tent located downtown during Stampede for daytime storage (other sight lines include various parking lots and the CITY-TV building). Overnight storage consists of a couple of cardboard boxes taped together in the Beltline. (Don't worry... it's Sub-Zero fridge packaging pinched from renovation projects in Mount Royal. Windows are exclusive - Dry Cleaning bags from Fishman's.) One day, I might consider upgrading to a van down by the river. In the meantime, if you want to stay over, please have your own sleeping bag.
When I'm not walking around winning friends and influencing people, I try to pull off a few 80s cover songs on my guitars (plural), hike, and take photographs (Canon digital and, very recently, retro Hasselblad film, for those who have an interest). I have a side project of kitchen chemistry that I'm about to kick off (no meth lab... sorry) that involves developing black and white film using coffee. Artistic and environmentally-friendly!
Sometimes I wonder why I even have a car, as I walk to work. Wait... I know... it's so I can keep carwash businesses going as I need to spray off the atmospheric grime that accumulates on stationary objects. My annual shoe budget is probably going to surpass my fuel expenditures.

I don't mind driving to the 'burbs to meet, but I live where the Streets Have No Names, so I will probably ask questions like 'is that Montana south?', 'do I need a passport to cross the border?' or 'is that Tuktoyaktuk north?'. I can hear 3 distinct police/fire sirens right now and a car alarm. In a few weeks, Harley engines and tire squealing will be added to the mix.

Random trivia - I attended the only wedding ever performed in the 100 year history of the West Coast Trail last June on Cribs Beach along with 16 friends of mine.
I hiked Machu Picchu in mid-November, followed up by a side trip to the Galapagos Islands.

This year, I'm more excited than usual for the start of a new year. This past year was full of challenges that I have been able to put behind me and allowed me to tie off some loose ends. I've heard it said that to in order for new things to come into your life you need to make room for them. Last year was about making that room, this year is all about the new things, clean slates, and fresh starts!
I'm a born and raised Calgarian, and most of my family is still in the Calgary area. My parents are close by which is nice, as I can visit with them or meet for dinner pretty easily. My younger sister and her family are also very close by - it's nice to be able to see my niece and nephew (12 and 14, respectively), though I wish I could see them more. They're growing up so fast!
Who am I looking for - great question. I don't know who they are yet, as I've yet to meet them. What will be they be like?
