Some of the things I like to do in my spare time are hanging out at a pub chatting over a beer, reading, running, mountain biking, yoga, golfing, gaming, live music, live theatre, watching DVDs, going to movies and doing yardwork (I consider that leisure time!). I really can enjoy any type of music from oompah to Lady Gaga. However, my favorite genres include classical, soundtrack, hip hop, electronica, eighties pop, hard rock, prog rock, punk and metal. Love going to the philharmonic. Now if you don't like everything I like, it really is OK, because that's why earphones were invented heh. I also enjoy playing music and have been practicing my bass and guitar recently after a loooong hiatus.
I've got a pretty dry and sarcastic sense of humour, and I'm more like a one-liner type rather than a story teller type (a bit introverted in other words). I try to keep an open mind about most things, but of course everyone gets set in their ways as they get older. My confidence is of the quiet kind, which does me just fine. I am also a very good listener.
I am financially and mentally stable, own a house, etc. I am pretty dedicated to proper nutrition, so would appreciate that in a mate! And when I say I want kids, I mean some of my own (if you already have one, that is OK).
