Ok, lets get down to some things I want to say right off the bat. (skip to the "who I am looking for part below, and come back here if you'd like because that IS who I'm looking for) Did you come back? Cool.
I need to be with someone who is honest, and knows what it is she wants. Trust is a huge part of any relationship, and I will not take part in any sort of a relationship ( friendship, romantic, etc) without it. I will trust people with all my heart until they break that trust, and then it is game over. That may sound a bit harsh I suppose, but there is a passage from the path to tranquility by the Dalai Lama that I truly believe. Goes a little something like this;
"Time never waits but keeps flowing. Not only does time flow unhindered, but correspondingly our lives too keep moving onward all the time.

I have found this to be true, as I'm quite sure all who have fallen into the "second chance trap" may very well agree. Life truly is too short :)

If you made it past my photos and age and other stats then you are actually reading this and I think that’s great! I’m confident that on paper I’ll sound just as good as any other man on this site but I know it takes more to make a connection with someone then merely matching up on paper.
I have achieved more of the tangible things than would be expected of a man my age. Good luck, smarts, decisions, timing and more good luck has led to me to be �successful’. I have a couple of degrees, rewarding career, financial security, car, and a nice home without undesirable roommates. I’ve also had my share of life experiences that made my adrenaline rush or broke my heart; I’ve come face to face with my own mortality.
I’m a Libra which I understand implies balance. For me that is true. I don’t work at it – living a balanced life is just who I have become. I’m not a workaholic but I know when to bear down and drive forward. I don’t eat a lot of junk food but I won’t go to a movie without getting a bag of popcorn and I have a weakness for potato chips. Most of the timeI keep it healthy with meals I make for myself – lots of vegetables and mostly organic. I do enjoy eating out as a social event. I’m committed to exercise. I lift weights or do some form of cardio for an hour a day 5-6 days a week. If I miss a day I don't obsess about it but I'm convinced the closest anyone is going to come to finding the fountain of youth is through healthy eating and regular exercise.
In the past couple of years I enjoyed active tours across Costa Rica and New Zealand. I did virtually nothing every day on a Caribbean Cruise and on Waikiki Beach. I did a massive tour of Australia including riding the train from Perth to Sydney. I intend to travel more in the future and a companion is always nice. I also like to jet around NA a bit to visit friends or attend events.
In the summer time I'm often on my mountain bike, running on the river paths, or swinging the clubs. I’m not shy about getting out in the winter. Most often I’ll be Xcountry skiing, occasionally snowshoeing and I do have downhill equipment that is ready to go.
While I like nice stuff built with quality, I'm not flashy. I think a good physique with good fitting clothes will catch more eyes than gawdiness. The things I own I can afford. I am what you would call "financially responsible" and am sure people who live on credit don’t understand the miracle of compound interest. I prefer dinner parties with a good mix of friends and new acquaintances to a night on the town. It's rare that I miss family get-togethers. I'm better at expressing myself through writing than talking. I’ll admit it – I’m reserved with most things that are new including a new woman that I have met on an online dating site.

I love the natural wonders of Canada, without feeling the need to kill any of it. I miss the historical sites of Europe. I would bear-nap a cub. I'd rather participate than watch, though there may be exeptions to that rule. I have zero tollerance for drugs and drunk drivers. I like to dance, especially the classics, such as waltz, passodoble, tango etc. I want to see more of this world. I'm grateful for my three daughters (they love me, so they say). I'm stubborn, but always willing to compromise. I enjoy my work, it gives me a sense of purpose.
