I find that meeting people in Calgary can be somewhat challenging...lol. Most of my friends, whom live in Vancouver,are married and have been for quite a while and so don't really go out. I only know a couple of people here in Calgary and find that due to the nature of my work I do not really get the opportunity to be as social as i would like. The situation being what it is, I thought that I would try online dating as another avenue to try and meet someone...so here goes...:)

OK, so I am divorced with three awesome sons.. but missing that other 'special someone' to share in all the fun we have.. someone who isn't afraid to scream as they're being slowly lurched toward a near-death experience strapped to the front (or back.. whole different ride!!) of the MindBender at West Ed.. or having the floor removed from below you on the Cyclone at the Water Park.. OK before you get a vision of someone straight from the set of Jackass.. you should know that there's also a tamer side to me as well.. someone who will make you the best Cajun-Blackened Chicken Caesar you've ever tasted followed by the best foot rub this side of the Arctic Circle (the Inuit apparently can foot-rub a gal back from the brink of frostbite.. that's certainly got me beat.. at least for now)
A good sense of humour and an honest set of values is also important to me. Not just important.. crucial.. although I'm very forgiving.. I'm also wise to the silly tricks that some would tend to play on others, just to stay within a relationship. I'm a true believer in 'what goes around comes around'.. so I try to give that extra 'something' in everything I do and toward everyone I meet. This is actually the core value set that I seek in a woman.. I would sooner be alone than to just 'settle' with someone. Not afraid of being alone actually.. do quite well.. built a good skill set over the past few years.. but still yearn for a special relationship with a very special lady..
I like all sorts of things.. If I were a soup I'd be a Mulligatawny with lots of crackers and a splash of Tabasco to spice it up.. with a hint of cinnamon so you enjoy what you are experiencing.. yet wonder why you are enjoying it so much??; a book?.. Encyclopedia Brittanica with Uncle John's footnotes and my own scribblings about the joys and pitfalls in life; if a movie.. well you get the point.. I like to live a purposeful and memorable life.. not afraid to step out into uncharted territory and experience new things on my own & with my kids.
My special lady would have to be compassionate toward life and others; have a wonderful wit coupled with a tender heart; be comfortable with who she is as a person, with confidence to say what she means and mean what she says. A sense of humour is a must.. if you can sit comfortably through Anchorman, Austin Powers or Joe Dirt.. then I think we have a connection. I firmly believe that laughter is the best medicine, and try to get my daily regimine. And she must possess.. Class.. that is a must.
So.. you might ask, if I'm in fact all that I have portrayed.. then why don't I have that 'Special Someone'?
