I dont take myself too seriousy and I think so far I've had a good run. I have some great friends, and a beautiful little girl who makes me laugh and appreciate life everyday. I also have a career that has challenged and fulfilled me for 11 years. I am a transplanted Vancouverite but Calgary is home now. (Really I'm good sans ocean but I need at least one trip a year to find green or water!)
I try not to get upset about trivial things or minor stressors in life and I make an effort to keep things in perspective. I like to take care of myself by eating well and healthy and by forcing myself, on occassion, to get my quota of exercise.
I'm looking for a kind woman who also trys not to sweat the small stuff, someone with a great sense of humour and an affectionate heart.
I would like to share my life with someone that shares my interests of travel, mountain and water sports,visiting with friends and cooking. (Love to cook and usually wreck the kitchen when I do!)

I am a pretty down to earth kinda guy. I don't expect much from others except honesty, sincerity, kindness, and caring from others in general. I am a genuine person and I expect the same. I will always show you respect and hope the same in return. I am a giver but rarely ever ask for anything in return. I sometimes portray a rough exterior but always have a soft heart. I am very physically active but do like to just sit around and relax; whether that is staying in bed on a cold wintery day or a summer rainy morning. I enjoy cuddling while watching movies or giving a back/foot massage while just sitting around and talking. I could go on and on about myself and toot my own horn but unless you actually take the time to get to know me they are only words.
What I am looking for in a companion I believe I already stated earlier. Someone who is genuine. I want to see and get to know who you are right away not who you think I should see. This is something I have always believed in. I will never play games with you. We are all here for the same reason and that is to hopefully meet our best friend/companion. I Am a Musician so I guess Music is My passion followed by Chinese Buffet Dinners and watching but lusting after all the pretty Pretty Girls!!!! I Am a Born again tongue speaking Christian but it is not essential that a potential date is the same. Truly I want to know about your beliefs whether your a believer or not in Spiritual matters. I'm grateful my parents settled on this land and that I've been able to live here my whole life. I'm grateful my ancestors chose to settle in Alberta, Canada.
My Ideal Match? Well, since I'm sure that I won't be anyone's IDEAL Match - if she fits any of my desired characteristics that would be great! Ideally she would already love cattle, be able to fall in love with me, be hotly attracted to me(ya, right), have dark hair &lashes & brows, have genetics to make my kids be tougher made than me, be kind, be caring, be sociable more easily than me, and NOT need a man that makes a huge salary.
In my career I have a few social outings a year around the province for cattle shows, sales, and meetings. In my community, I go to a few dances, and am a long time participant in the local dance schools' adult classes. I love to perform at the year end recital, and at competitions. Meet people from Canada. This is a little out of my comfort zone and it took me some time to sign up, but after a bit of prodding and encouraging I figure �why not’ as it could be a little bit of fun.
I try to remain active and enjoy doing a number of activities such as rollerblading, skiing, golfing and hiking, but I also enjoy spending time relaxing by watching a movie, going out to eat or just spending time with friends and family. I like most sports but only follow hockey and enjoy going to Calgary Hitmen games during the season. I just got into going to Calgary Roughneck games this past lacrosse season and they’re a lot of fun.

I really want to travel more and have been almost everywhere in Canada and the USA.
