I love to travel and explore, I find it amazing and exciting to experience different cultures and I have been to many places around the world and want to see the rest!
I'm not one to sit still for too long, so any time I can get outdoors to go hiking, climbing, snowboarding, kiteboarding, biking, camping, fishing, golfing, team sports, etc, I'm there! As well, for indoor activities, I enjoy going to the gym, volleyball, curling, swimming, yoga. Great food and wine, whether going out or cooking at home, or sometimes beer and pizza! Gotta have balance! I like to go out to listen to live music whether at a pub or full on concert every week or two and take part in sports or gym activities every day. Health and fitness has become a lifestyle that would be great to share with someone special.
Another passion of mine is old muscle cars and motorcycles and has been since I was a kid, I get a lot of satisfaction from building, modifying, racing and driving my own cars. For my geek side, watching, studying and trading markets and seeing how the world interacts as a whole is exciting to me.
I can be kind of a goofball at times as you can see in a couple of my pictures, whether I'm laughing or being laughed at, is all good, I have no shame!
My family and I are quite close, we always have great times together and lots of laughs and we get together weekly for food, drinks, and activities.
I typically would much rather do something active or go to an event over watching tv, Although sometimes I will just stay in and cook a good dinner with some wine, or beer, depending on the dinner, and watch a movie. However, I would probably enjoy more down time if I had the right person to enjoy it with.
So, I have no expectations, I'm new to this type of dating scene and I'm comfortable and happy with myself, I'm open to trying new things, and if someone can compliment my life and lifestyle, then I'm open to trying.

i enjoy playing tennis and squash and regularly work out at the gym. hiking is something that i would like to experience more of in the future.
music is one of my biggest interests. RUSH and The Beatles are among my personal fav's to listen to. however, i even find opera quite relaxing to listen to at times (it's one of those time & place things). i'm really looking forward to the Coldplay gig in April; it should be incredible.
these days i find that any available time between extracurricular endeavors must be spent on self-study requirements as my career demands the pursuit of life-long learning. so be it.
i am looking for a gal who shares similar personality traits as mine and has a good heart. making an effort to maintain her figure would be important to her.
