I have many different interests in this world, but my overall theme is a drive to understand the world, myself, and my place in it. My interests are:
1) Music (especially metal, classical or anything that strikes an emotional chord deep within.) SINGING!!!
2) Archaeology, history, culture, religion, the occult, etc.
3) Movies and writing. (Though it would be sweet to sell a script or transcript, the main reason I write is for my self, and to attempt to understand my subconscious and what it might be trying to tell me :) )
4) Learning, in general.
I tend to think very deeply about things, as I see many sides to every story, but I do know how to have fun. Depending on the task at hand, I can be goofy and have a blast, or be very solemn and reflective. Many parts of who I am seem to conflict with many other parts of myself, and because of that I strive for balance between opposites, in myself and the world. It is important to me to be be stimulated both intellectually and adventurously by another, but not necessarily at the same time. I look very deeply at myself, and try to understand the motivation behind my actions, why I think a certain way or have the reactions to situations that I do. Basically, I do my best to constantly grow and be the most well-rounded person I can. I expect that in the person I am with. Obviously the means may be quite different, but if you can let your heart lead you in one moment, and your mind urge you to learn and expand in the next, then we should have some good starting ground.
As most, I desire honesty. I do not tolerate obsessive lying or the twisting of my words or even of the past. One of the most important things I feel a healthy relationship requires is maturity. Genuine maturity. If there is a discrepancy, I expect to be able to talk about it and together work toward a solution. This is achieved by not getting angry with one another, and instead trying to understand the root cause of the issue. In the end, we are not the same person, so problems will of course arise. If we take a step back to recognize this, it becomes a lot easier to let go of our own preconceptions and open the gateway toward better understanding the person we are with.
Anyhow, I don't want to make this too long. I am going to university primarily for psychology, but have many more subjects I would love to delve into, even if on my own time. I want to learn as much as I can, travel as much as I can, and love and be loved as much as I can. I am open to many things, and do my best to be open to much more. Ones idea of fun is relative, so don't be intimidated by my saying I like adventure. I myself can be outgoing, but do prefer a more subtle flow to life. In fact, I see spontaneity and silliness as more of a way to mix things up from time to time rather than a constant way of life. I am currently subscribed, so if you're in the least bit curious, give me a shout.
