For starters I just got out of a seven year relationship at Christmas and being alone sucks. So I joined this site hoping to meet new friends and maybe that special someone. To quote a Toby Keith song let's talk about me. Aside from the generic facts of age and height already listed I'm open, honest, and reliable. Yeah most people say that on sites like this and since ex's aren't exactly reliable for beaming references, we have to hope and check that facts ourselves. I strongly believe that trust is a right. I believe in everyone until I'm given reason to doubt them. Got me in more than a few problem situations but I still believe that there are decent honest people out there. I lost the house, the truck, the dog and the friends in my recent separation and I'm looking to rebuild myself. I recently found that I don't hate nature walks as long as the temperature and bug level are decent. I like horror and SciFi movies the most but enjoy most types. I'm not big on "chick flicks" tho but I did suffer thru the Twilight movies in the name of love (LOL). I’m very affectionate but I think I was raised by the wrong type of father to be considered romantic. I have a great memory (sometimes too great) so missing birthdays and anniversaries never happens. A great day for me ends with a sense of accomplishment in whatever tasks I set before me and cuddling watching TV, a movie, or just talking. I have a few useful talents like being a handyman and computer geek. I can install a new ceiling fan and design a great website about it all in the same day (LOL). I’ve had a long and eventful life that I’m willing to talk about with anyone who will listen but I’d sooner hear about you and your day. Main goal for joining this site is to meet people, so I guess it’s a safe guess I’m looking for a friend. Someone I can hang with and maybe share a pizza with or a tub of popcorn at the movies. Honesty is an absolute with me. I don’t care if what you have to say goes against how I think as long as it’s honest. I’ve had so much smoke blown up my butt recently I’m surprised I don’t have colon cancer. So, please, above anything else you may do with me be honest. I can forgive anything except deception. I’m far from shallow but of course a physical attraction is necessary. Emotional baggage is expected unless I want to date ladies too young to have truly experienced life. But baggage should not be a dominant force in your life. I am not your ex any more than you are my ex. Yeah there will always be that little thing in our pasts that still haunt us but you should be emotionally stable enough to know when it’s just a ghost. It’s going to sound corny but I’d much sooner do things you enjoy than drag you along to do something I want to do. Granted there’s got to be a chance for my pleasures as well but I’m sure it will all even out in the end. I guess all I really need to start off is a fun, honest, happy woman.
