I also do some volunteer work and have been enrolling in language classes the odd time when I can. Nowadays, when I'm chill-axing, I can be found either at home playing my guitar, going out with my friends, or planning my next holiday vacation.
My experiences from working and travelling abroad has shown me to be humble and thankful in life. It has opened my eyes that in some places in the world, life can be cruel and cheap to people and their communities. I believe there are going to be highs and lows when it comes to living and if you get caught up on all the lows, it's gonna eat you up alive. "The universe tends to unfold as it should...". Of course on the other hand if your careless and reckless, your just asking for it and it's gonna catch up to you.
The basics for what I am looking for in a gal is pretty typical. You should be happy with yourself, be a person of good character, love family and kids, and be non-self destructive. In addition, I hope that we share at least one common interest in a hobby or pastime.
I guess what really puts the icing on the cake is that we have the same outlook on life and that there is some chemistry between us. The chemistry thing is tough to define but, I know it when I feel it and I think that you'll know it when you feel it too.
