. I am not sure sometimes what I am looking for because it can be so difficult to know what is right and what is wrong when there are so many options out in the world today for us to consider above and beyond everything else that we need to do.

Well, I am a little hard to pin down. I am an educated professional with a corner office, but I have a few toys on the window sill. I have a challenging job that I enjoy, most of the time, but I also enjoy being able to leave work at 4pm most days. Work doesn't define me, it pays the bills so I can enjoy life.
I love being outdoors and active. I ride my bicycle to work most days from May to October, but am still carrying a few extra pounds (but 10 less than I was in May, and counting). I am a Sunshine season pass holder and ski almost evey weekend in the winter. I don't golf.
I love to cook, hence the extra few pounds, but hate cleaning up afterwards (but I still do). Sharing a bottle of wine while making dinner after a day on the slopes (or cycling/hiking in the mountains) is my idea of a perfect day.
I am a bit shy or reserved at first, but you might have a hard time getting me to be quiet once I get to know you. My friends say I have a genuinely sweet heart and funny, with a slightly dark sense of humour. I really do enjoy making those in my life happy.
An ideal relationship would be someone I feel comfortable talking with, someone who laughs at the same things I do, someone who I could disagree with and still be friends. Someone who understands that true intimacy isn't found in the bedroom, true intimacy is found between your ears. Someone who would be a good friend first but still makes me feel like there are butterflies in my stomach.
